Lake Shore Lodge was sold out on Friday in October. Rate was $209.00 for a room with a view of the lake and mountains. Beds were comfortable and acceptable. Many of the hotels/motels in Estes Park are only average. If you don't want a view it is only $149.00. Best Restaurant in Estes for Italian was Molly's. Service was average... more

We stayed at Lake Shore Lodge in 2007 when we attended the Long's Peak Festival, and we opted to stay again because of the wonderful unobstructed view of the lake and mountains from the the lakeview rooms -- not necessarily because of the hotel. The room had improved. The bed had a new mattress, upgraded sheets and a comfy duvet.... more

My wife and I just returned home from Estes Park and our stay at the lodge. New management must really care about the guests. The staff was incredibly friendly and accomodating. Food was fabulous. Location on the lake is sureal. So much to do so close by with the Marina. The only thing I would change would be the continental... more

This strip of Estes Park has many hotels/motels. The Lake Shore Lodge seems to have more character than the rest, at least as viewed from the outside. As the name suggests, and the attached photo shows, the lodge is right on the lake - but don't be fooled, it's not in an isolated paradise. Like everything else in Estes Park,... more

We recently stayed at the Lake Shore Lodge - had stayed there a year ago under different ownership. It is a beautiful building with a wonderful view of the mountains. It is definitely overpriced, for what you get. The rooms had new duvets, but no bed skirts! When I asked about this at the front desk, I was told since... more

I stayed at Lake Shore Lodge with some friends and we had a very good time! The rooms were very comfortable and I loved the views. We ate at The Shores restaurant, the food was great and the view from the restaurant was amazing! I would definitely stay there again! more

While the location is on the edge of town it wasn't too far to RMNP. It is one of the few places in town with interior hallway entrances. I chose not to pay the extra money for a room with a view which worked out fine since I was only there to sleep. My room was large with a king... more

We really enjoyed our stay at the Lake Shore Lodge. The view of the Rockies from our balcony was fabulous! When my husband was a chicken and wouldn't drive our family over the Trail Ridge Road, an employee from the hotel drove us up to the Alpine Visitor Center (for a charge, of course). I don't know what anybody else... more

I booked this hotel because it is the only one with an indoor pool, which my 13-year-old son would enjoy after it got too cool in the evening to be outdoors. Summer is the high season in Estes Park, so I was williing to pay $200 a night for a nice place to stay. When I called the hotel to... more
