This is a basic 1960s motel. We were on the first floor; not much of a view. The big problem is that the people above got up at 5:30 am while we were planning to sleep in until 8:30. Floor squeaking, then a horrendous noise as they ran, then later drained, the bathtub above us. I got up to make... more
Honestly, the only reason this isn't getting a 5-star review is because of the temp. in the room! It was the middle of Feb, but the temp outside was hovering in the high 50's, low 60's. For whatever reason, the room was probably about 80 degrees! We tried turning the thermostat way down, but, nothing was coming from the vents.... more
My mom and I stayed one night at the Tyrol Mountain Inn in early October and had a very enjoyable experience. The staff was very friendly and helpful, the room was extremely clean (I wish I could hire the housekeeping staff for my house!) and the rustic log-style decor was very charming. We stayed on the second level to take... more
My wife and I booked the Tyrol because it was the only thing left without negative reviews in a town heavily booked because of a conference. We were leary but had to find a room. What we found on arrival was a very pleasant surprise. The staff was warm and engaging. The room was comfortable, extremely clean, and recently updated.... more
My family and I stayed at the now Tyrol Mountain Inn for 4 nights while vacationing. Our first choice was to have a cabin or room on either Fall River or the Big Thompson River. However, all those rooms were filled. The room we had was one of their biggest rooms for longer stays and it was a nice size... more
A perfect spot for the right price. We stayed one night at the Days Inn in Estes Park it was just right. Theres nothing over the top for this typical hotel. For the area its a good choice. The location is a long walk to the center of town, although there is great steak resturant within a short walk. Every... more
The hotel is nice and clean. Refrigerator and microwave are also available so it's very convenient for us who brings a toddler. It has a central heater so it's very quiet (Not like other Days inn Hotels). It's located in the mountain but within walking distance to Stanley mall. So it's very convenient to get foods. The staff is friendly.... more
I was very impressed with this hotel. It was one of the cleanest hotels I have ever stayed in (and I travel alot and have stayed in some 5 stars that were not as clean). The decor was so cozy warm and rustic, very appropriate for the area. I liked that it was just outside of town but still within... more
This was a great place to stay! I had to make some changes to my schedule, and the staff changed my dates with no hassles. They were very helpful. The rooms were very clean and the furniture was rustic and comfortable. The swimming pool wasn't much, and the hotel is close to the downtown shopping area but conveniently away from... more
