Ok so we were suppose to camp, but the great rains were on there way. My husband and I decided we mind as well have lunch there( the last time we saw any blue in the sky) and at least check out what should have been our campsite. Upon entering the ranger station we told him our name and site #,... More

We stayed here for 2 nights Aug 28 and 29, 2013. We were in loop D, spot 145. It was a wonderful experience. I highly recommend the " D " loop for tent campers, it is free of any generators and quiet. Also, if you stay on the outer loop near " 145 " you can see into the valley... More

We stayed in Moraine Park Campground during late July 2013. Stayed in site #72. It is a quiet site you have to walk a ways back to which is a little hassle with the cooler etc. You have to walk very close to 71 to get to your car. They would be fun to rent together if you need two... More

Moraine Park Campground is on the east side of Rocky Mountain NP. Generally a nice campground, extremely crowded in summmer (as expected). Your experience will be greatly enhanced by your choice of site & loop. In summer, you need reservations for the good spots, although the first come-first served B loop (sites 171-225) is not bad (pit toilets only, no... More

The camping spots are very nice and well equipped with a large tent pad, fire pit, and picnic table, but it is awfully busy for my taste. If you are going to hike the Rocky Mountains, I think camping should be a requirement for at least a few days. There aren't a lot of options, so I would say go... More

We stayed here for 5 days. We stayed at sites A 70 and A 71. Perfect views and close to bathrooms. Lots of deer on our sites. Perfect hiking areas and very kid friendly. We have a 9 and 6 year old and did well hiking. There is also a lot to do in Estes Park. Cannot wait to go... More

So it's a basic campsite, but has toilets and a place to hang up your solar showers. Each pitch has a picnic table and chair combo and a fire pit. You have to buy the wood as you are not allowed to go find it. About $5 for a good bundle of wood...the guy also sells ice creams. You are... More

We camped in site C 236 in Moraine Campground. We have a pop up trailer and on this trip we had another family stay with us in a tent. The site is large enough to accommodate the tent and pop up along with two cars. The site also backs up to a meadow so we had no one behind us... More

We made reservations back in January for our June stay at Moraine Park. We arrived right after 1pm check in and got a helpful & friendly greeting. We really liked this campground, but hated our spot ~ A47. The driveaway was carved into a hilll and is surrounded by wood wall sides. This spot is only good for shorter RVs... More

We were in A097 for one night in June. Nice campground close to the action of the national park. We were right across from the bathroom, which was nice. It is a small site, kind of along the road but we didn't feel too exposed to neighbors. The views in the campground are nice. We didn't see any wildlife, but... More
