The restrooms are all very clean. The area for tents are small though. Friend and I stayed here from 8/27-30. We both want to shower daily. We tried Dad's Maytag Laundry and Shower as other people suggested. Quite nice, they clean the bathroom after each use. $6 per shower. The only catch is they close at 5:00 pm daily. Then... More

Out of all the places we stayed at during our East-West US roadtrip, this was our favorite! We booked it a couple of weeks in advance, and managed to get the last available spot, so make sure to be out in time. Our tent site was a walk-to, and based on the map, seemed to be quite far away from... More

I loved this campground! We were in loop B and the views of the mountains were right in front of our tent. In the evening, I had never seen so many stars in my life! My friends and I counted a total of 5 shooting stars that evening! This place is affordable, and I would recommend it. The site even... More

Family enjoyed our time here. Camp sites were a little too close to each other for our liking, yet this is understandable. The shuttle to various trailheads was very accommodating. Clean and friendly campsite!

Rocky Mountain National Park is amazing. Moraine was clean, well maintained, and an incredibly easy place to camp for a family with young children. The staff is extremely friendly, always approachable. The rangers are exceptional at doing their jobs and making sure that people camp responsibly, while at the same time being friendly and courteous. I would recommend this place... More

We camped in d loop and it was very spacious and quiet. Bear boxes are scattered here and there and inconvenient so we just put our food in our car. A bear print was on the side if the car in the morning so I guess they are right about keeping your stuff secure. Other than the inconvenience of nit... More

My husband, son and I camped in Rocky for the first time this summer. It was only two nights, but we packed in a ranger presentation, two great hikes, a 3-hour trail ride, and the Trail Ridge Road drive. The Moraine Park Campground is large and very busy, but many of the sites are really beautiful, and the setting is... More

We stayed at one of the walk in camp sites. I think it was site number 87 which was great. It had an amazing view of the mountains and was pretty private. We didn't mind carrying our things up the hill and there was lots of wildlife around, chipmunks and lots of deers. There were also some newly renovated bathrooms... More

Stayed for 5 days and saw the good and the bad. First off, it's pretty quiet. During the day it has your typical noises with kids playing and a few dogs barking, but during quiet hours it was very quiet. As mentioned, each site has a picnic table, fire ring, and tent pad, which is nice. There's tons of wildlife.... More

This campground has tons of ground squirrels, chipmunks, birds, and the occasional deer frequenting its grounds. The bathrooms run cold water sinks, flush toilets, and a dish washing station. There are plenty of bear boxes which you must use to store all food, toiletries, or anything with a strong odor. Shuttle buses can take you to trailheads from the campsite.... More
