We tent camped for five days in Moraine at the end of July. It is a busy park, but the staff are amazing. The sites are very large when compared to other national parks we have stayed in. There was wild life EVERYWHERE. It was amazing. The staff were very friendly and knowledgable. We ended up getting a non-reservation site... More

We went for one night in October...overall it was nice. Clean park, secluded campground, and a good experience. The one thing I would change or recommend to the staff is to do something about the Elks consistent need to party. They were up all night party rockin and would not stop calling or rather, 'yelping' out to other elks. Several... More

This is your standard National Park Campground...be prepared for (ripe smelling) pit toilets, no showers & pretty close camp sites. The pit toilets prevented an excellent rating. I was fortunate to have chosen a site well above the offending odorous pits. Happily it was otherwise a great location! Great Views, great location for quick, easy access to trails within the... This is a very large campground, but once you are at your site, you don't notice. There is a lot to do within walking distance of the campground. You can jump on the shuttle bus to get around the park. Campground is close enough to town that you can run to safeway for groceries or seek out indoor entertainment on... More

We stayed here 1 night. Our tent site was nice and large-with a picnic table right under a tree for shade, and a tent pad that was nice & flat. We weren't too close to our neighbors. The bathrooms here are your typical national park bathrooms...not that clean or updated. If you want really nice campground bathrooms, stay at Aspenglen... More

It seems like a typical National Park campsite now that I've seen a bunch of them. Its crowded, so if you want to get away this isn't the place. We were tent camping and felt a little out of place with RVs everywhere next to us, we would have preferred to be in the tent-only area, but didn't realise it... More

If you have stayed at Madison Campground in Yellowstone or virtually any other reserved site National Park campground, you will feel right at home in the Moraine Park campground. Ranger stations, restrooms and campsites are nearly identical. To be fair, Moraine has amazing mountain views. We stayed in site 156 of D loop which made good on the promised views... More

Just stayed at this campground for the second time. Most of the sites are a nice size so you're not on top of anyone. This time we scored site 183 in B loop (first come/first served) which was really nice. We had a great view of Long's Peak. We could walk up the hill, park our chairs, and gaze down... More

We camped (1 tent and 2 hammocks) for 3 nights on site A137. We loved the site due to the rocks behind our site, which gave us some privacy and a place for our son to play. We also were not in a row of tents, (that were in a valley) but we were set off to the side. We... More

We stayed 2 nights. Park was nice. Good views. Liked the location unfortunately it rained heavily while we were there so didn't enjoy the full potential. I did spray bathroom to kill spiders that were everywhere. Spent everyday in Estes to launder/dry our clothes/blankets. No camp stores except for wood from 5-8pm no showers but $6 at laundry mat for... More
