We held our bi-annual family reunion over a long weekend in June at Estes Park. I was the organizer of the reunion and felt that I got excellent service from the group coordinator, Gail, to the lady who had to deal with my accounting problems (trying to coordinate payment from 11 family groups was not easy) at check out. Our... more

We loved our stay at the YMCA of the Rockies. Family friendly is the key word at this retreat. We loved all the options for kids classes and activities. Highlights were archery, horseback riding, and mini golf. The craft center is also fabulous - my daughter & I could have stayed there all week! - though be ready to pay... more

This was a wonderful stay. Our youth group from our church was staying here for a FLY (Free Lutheran Youth) convention, and many families from our church decided to carivan out there for a church family vacation as well. We stayed in a lodge that had hotel style rooms. There are not TV's in the room, which did not bother... more

I'm a student at the University of Missouri in Columbia, and the weekend I spent at the YMCA of the Rockies in Estes Park was AMAZING! I came with my family, and didn't have high hopes, but I underestimated how much fun you can have at one place. There was always something to do. It was so convenient to have... more

We just got back from a weekend stay at the YMCA of the Rockies in Estes Park. We stayed in the Eagle Cliff Lodge in a basic room with a queen bed and 2 sets of bunkbeds. The room is very simple and does not have a TV, but with all the beauty of RMNP, who needs one? The YMCA... more

The Y is a good base for exploring Rocky Mountain NP, and a great venue for a family reunion or other group activities. Clean small rooms, so-so meals, good recreational facilities, and meeting venues in what must be termed a truly spectacular setting. All at a reasonable price. Hint: If you want to stay here, reserve early. Groups plan far... more

I have gone to the YMCA of the Rockies many times, both as a child and as an adult with my own children. The experience is unforgettable. This was my first time visiting in the winter and it was beautiful. They have lodges (some rooms have bunkbeds, which the kids love) and also cabins. The cabins have fully equipped kitchens.... more

We have spent many years at YMCA, Rockies. This Christmas we were able to share this wonderful place with our children and grandchildren. We had a 2 bedroom cabin with fireplace and they shared a vacation home. The "Y" was very considerate by accommodating us right next to each other. These are clean comfortable cabins surrounded by the majestic Rockies.... more

We had three cabins away from the main campus. I was very suprised to learn that they do not clean your cabin each day. In fact, you have to make your own bed and if you want clean towels, you need to drive down to the main campus and exchange your dirty towels. If you want to feel like your... more

This is a beautiful location, but is definitely a camp. We stayed in one of the lodges and were surprised at the tiny size of the room. It was quiet and clean - just tiny. There were box fans - no a/c. Check-in was confusing, with staff giving mixed messages about where to locate our room keys. We ate in... more
