When I discovered that our Holistic Chamber of Commerce leadership conference was to be held at a YMCA camp I cringed. I am NOT a kid person. However, I was pleasantly surprised at how great this place was. Enough room that I didn't notice how many children there were most of the time. Our meeting space was in the same... More

First of all, kudos to the University of Colorado School of Medicine for picking such an awesome place for the Annual conference! Fortunately, lectures were held in the hall without windows, or I would not have lasted indoors nearly enough.. The place was as picturesque as the website suggests, although you can only truly appreciate it when you are in... More

Stayed in Longs Peak Lodge with five people, including 3 teens. There were 2 queen beds and futon mattress for fifth person to sleep on floor. Room did not feel too crowded for the five of us. Be aware there is no TV or air conditioning, however, I greatly appreciated the break from having kids staring at the box. At... More

YMCA of the Rockies is in one of the most picturesque places in America. The whole place seems pretty nice and clean. We were in the hotel like lodges for our family reunion. Other members of our family set it up and it turned out to be a pretty expensive place just for two adults for two nights. Our rooms... More

For the record, we were not a good fit here. I should have read some reviews before I came, but I just looked at the star rating. I was here for a conference and signed up for lodging, was rather surprised at the low cost. We got in at 8 AM for my classes and my husband and toddler son... More

First the highlights: unmatched setting in the middle of the Rockies. Extensive onsite facilities for activities and planned excursions for hiking, fly fishing, etc. Families with young children will find plenty to keep them occupied. Now the rest of the story... We just finished our conference there and experienced way too many dropped balls. First, no communication between the conference... More

It has great location (near the Rocky Mountain National Park, where you can do hiking in the free time). There are lots of variants to stay in (deifferent types of cabins and lodges), few dining places (with the good choice of what to eat) and just HUGE amount of activities (horseback riding, zip line, swimmimg pool, library, volleyball, basketball, tennis,... What a great place where there is something for everyone! I came for a conference and my husband had plenty to so while I was busy. We stayed in the Long's Peak Lodge, which is one of the newer buildings. Rooms are big--but be prepared for no TV or telephone. No air conditioning either, and the buildings were a little... More

We've been coming up here since our children were small. It's a great place to be with kids. There is a lot to do, and the grounds are away from town, so preteens and teens can be on their own. We two couples shared a cabin for a reasonable price and enjoyed the mountain air and views. The cabins are... More

Loved this family experience. So affordable! Cabins are not fancy, but clean and exactly right for us. It's like going back to camp as a grown up with all the arts, crafts, games you could want. Everyone in the family took different classes and loved them: bird banding was a favorite, but we also liked outdoor survival, archery, astronomy, etc.... More
