Stayed at YMCA of the Rockies for 2 weeks over the 4th of July for an international conference. The rooms are very basic with no tv, beds are old, linens old, but linens were clean. Carpeting was old and dirty. Found pretzels by the second bed in the room. Housekeeping does not have a clue. I left $5 tip with... More

Not the most glamorous place, but a solid, great place to stay if you have kids. A bunch of wonderful activities (fly fishing, hiking, zip lines, rock wall, kickball, drum circles, mini golf, and on and on) for the family to all get involved in. A beautiful property and location. Safe, secure, quiet. And a really good value for the... More

We got a room in a lodge that was supposed to hold five. There were two "queenish" beds in a very small room and a single size futon mattress for the floor. My three kids fought for an hour over who was going to have to sleep on the floor. Once our bags were in the room, there was no... More

Some folks seem to think this is supposed to be the Ritz or a Westin - but it's not! It's a YMCA camp located in one of the most beautiful locations in the country - and, after all, isn't that why you came here to begin with??? We came with a youth singing group from our church - 60 kids,... More

I travelled here in September and very much enjoyed my 5 days here. It is full of nice people and amazing scenery. It is also good if you have kids but if you don't like kids running around then, forget coming here. It wasn't a long drive into the village but I don't know how it works with public transport.... Good and bad. .. We just had a family reunion here about 45 of us. There are incredible things to do at this beautiful location. The craft house was amazing. The activities are endless. A few things to be aware of though. First is the rooms. We stayed in mt. Yipson lodge which is in dire need of a remodel.... More

Great place to stay with family, friends or just to get away into the mountains. Hiking, swimming, horseback riding are all great from here in the summer and fall. And the view in every direction is great! Food in the cafeteria is not the best but if you have a cabin, you can take care of yourself.

We go up for a particular camp every year and the food is included in our stay. The food is so horrible (moldy fruit and cold eggs), we are tempted to not return. There are so many fun things for kids to do and the scenery is very beautiful so it is hard to not go back. If you come... More

Sleep quality is probably the single most important thing, to me, about lodging. I pay for a hotel or lodge room because I want somewhere I can sleep. At YMCA of the Rockies, I didn't get what I paid for. The walls and floors of our lodge -- Eagle Cliff -- were the thinnest I've ever experienced. I could hear... More

We've stayed here numerous times. Both in the reunion lodges and in different cabins on the property. Always take our own food as the food in the dining hall is not great. Some cabins have everything and some are considered basic. Most have great balconies. Activities include: hiking, tennis, zip lining, mini golf, ping pong, swimming, fireside chats etc.
