We stayed here over Columbus Day weekend and had the time of our lives. We rented a 3 bedroom cabin as we were planning to host my in-laws for a late fall getaway to the Rockies. The cabin was very clean, and well stocked with kitchen tools. It offered a rustic feel yet had all of the amenities, minus electronics,... More

Beautiful place to visit. Lots of activities to keep the family entertained when not visiting the park. Room was okay, fairly warm with no a/c and the outlet didn't work to plug in the fan. Bed was mediocre. Food was terrible at the buffet. Don't plan on that as your place to get a quick bite. I didn't stay here... More

I stayed at the Long Peak Lodge for a couple of nights for a conference at the YMCA, Estes Park. The pros: 1. Beautiful! Great view from the window, and a lovely area in general 2. Elk just lounging on the property 3. Not far from food or the conference locations at all. I asked the dining room for a... More

We stayed here for the weekend and it was definitely the most affordable place to stay in Estes Park. The place is much larger than I thought it would be. The room was basic and the food was standard cafeteria fare. They have a great pool and a nice mini-putt course. We want to go back to Rocky Mountain National... More

Stayed at the YMCA of the rockies for a conference. The location is breathtaking. The basic rooms are not that fancy, but you can get rooms or cabins that are excellent. The area is perfect for exploring the outdoors and the YMCA facilitates this with scheduled activities.

The YMCA is not normally the first choice for accommodations, but I had a great week and recommend it to others. This is a conference facility - used by students and groups of all types. I was leading a photography group, but while I was there saw everything from school groups to Mary Kay. The facility can house up to... More

Life changes and mine did. As a disabled individual traveling is a challenge. YMCA of the Rockies has tried and is still trying to help with accessibility. However if you are dependent on wheels this is not the place to be. Most of your access will be limited to the administration building and the lodges. They do have what they... More

Decided to stay 5 days and 4 nights here during our 2 week trip to Colorado in August. We rented the basic cabin. Although it can sleep 4, it was rather tight for four adult sized persons because the "master bedroom" only holds a double. Next time I will definitely book a bigger cabin. The cabin was rustic but it... More

Attended a professional conference, including meeting space, lodging, and food. Excellent location for 1000-900 person conference. Cafeteria food was adequate, and downtown Estes Park not too far away if you wanted some variety. I stayed in a lodge, which was very much like a traditional hotel. I imagine a cabin would have been a little more serene at night, but... More

This review is of Wind River Lodge Only- not the entire park. While I was out in Boulder, CO- I decided to come up to Estes Park for some peace and quiet and thought this would have been a great place to stay- Wind River Lodge for 2 nights. What I found was nothing but quiet. Very noisy parking lot... More
