This was a beautifully appointed lodge with lovely, comfortable rooms. We were greeted warmly by Elizabeth who gave us a tour of the well-decorated, attractive lounge, lobby and breakfast area. Our room was very cozy with a beautiful view of the valley and mountains beyond where we watched the sunrise each day. Gorgeous! Ken and Diane are terrific hosts who... More

I had the pleasure of staying with Diane and Ken (owners) for 3 days recently. This lodge is well organized and well run. All of your needs are anticipated, service was excellent - requests for massage appointments and fresh flowers in my room were beautifully handled. They were helpful in organizing reservations for dinner. The room was comfortable as was... More

Ken and Diane are very good hosts. They are eager to provide input on things to see and do as well as the best places to eat in town. The room (Ute Indian) we had was very nice with a great view of the surrounding mountains from the private balcony. The bed was very comfy and the bathroom clean and... More

We did a lot of researching before going to Estes Park, and we must have done our homework, as this was, by far the best place in town! Wonderful lodge atmosphere, with great views off each balcony. The rooms were very comfortable and nicely decorated. The common areas had leather couches and any amenties you could ask for. Each day... More

We took three days, 2 nights to rest and hike in Rocky Mtn National Park while staying at Taharaa.Mtn Lodge. What a great place. We gave ourselves this break after a week of grandchildren duty in nearby Wyoming. Our hosts were friendly and helpful - when's the last time your directions to a local restaurant were marked out in yellow... More

We are so happy we booked our wedding with Taharaa! Everyone always tells you to expect many things to go wrong, and we were prepared, but that wasn't the case at Taharaa. We loved Diane and Elizabeth, who went out of there way to ensure our wedding was as special and perfect as possible. I was so astonished by how... More

My husband and I enjoyed a 4-night stay at Taharaa Mountain Lodge for the second part of our trip to Rocky Mountain National Park. (The first 4 nights were near Grand Lake on the other side of the park.) Even though the goal of our trip was to see as much of RMNP as possible, I would have been happy... More
