We spent four nights at Taharaa in early June as part of our anniversary. What a wonderful spot that truly lived up to the website billing. The breakfasts each morning were truly "gourmet" , delicious, and served in the dining room with spectacular views of the mountains. We really enjoyed the "happy hour" each day at 5:30 where we got... more

My wife and I had a wonderful stay at the Taharaa. We strongly recommend going during the slower season, we were able to find great deals in the local shops and great food in and around Estes Park. The remnants of snow in some areas make the stay that much nicer, especially from a couple of Texans that don't get... more

4.5 stars With another couple, we stayed two nights over New Year's Eve 2006/2007. Found the rooms very clean, the lodge with beautiful views, and the entire Staff incredibly friendly & helpful. The gas fireplaces in each room were perfect for a cool evening (just open the glass doors and give it a few minutes to warm the room). The... more

After almost cancelling our reservation based on the negative reviews of the Taharaa from this website, I felt the need to write a positive review for this wonderful B&B. My husband and I visited the Taharaa for our 10th wedding anniversary in October. This was the first trip for us without kids in several years (so we were not bothered... more

I used this website to initially choose B&B's for my wife and I for a July trip. I planned this trip to be the first time away from our son since his birth. I was hoping for an incredible experience from the Tahaara where my wife could relax. I can honestly say I was not disappointed. The owners are personable... more

My wife and I just stayed three nights at the Taharaa Lodge, our third visit, and it was fabulous as always. The owners, Ken and Diane, are the most wonderful, caring and hospitable people we've had the pleasure of staying with. They truly care about their guests, and Diane is a great lady who's concerned about the overall experiance of... more

We just stayed for a weekend at Taharaa Mountain Lodge. What an experience! We wanted so very much to like this place - but it just became impossible to forgive them any more. Creamer, not real cream? Eh, that's alright. Ack, horrible coffee? Well...maybe it's better in the breakfast room...blended sheets? "Beige" washcloths? The list just went on & on... more

I was recently at the Thaara Mountain Lodge for an early July wedding. The lodge is beautiful from the outside. The views are great. When we were checked into our room I found a beer can, beer bottle and not to mention a condom wrapper by the bedstand. You would expect this if you were paying $30 a night but... more

We could not agree more with the last reponse posted. We also got married at the Taharaa Mountian Lodge. The place is gorgeous, but the owners were very strict and quite unfriendly. I would NOT recommend getting married there!! more

We are just returning from a wedding hosted at the Taharaa Lodge in Estes Park, CO. While the lodge itself was beautiful I have much advice to those contemplating having their wedding there. I was warned about the female proprietor of this lodge long before I experienced her firsthand. If you don't mind an overbearing, inappropriate, and unprofessional person assisting... more
