My husband and I went to Estes Park, CO - not knowing where to stay, we picked Taharaa as it looked very nice. The lodge is absolutely beautiful! The views are amazing. Ken & Diane (innkeepers) were incredibly nice, helpful...they were truly lovely. The breakfast in the morning was 5 Star - overall, an incredibly beautiful, serene lodge. I would... more

We also a lovely stay. Very convenient to RMNP. The caretakers & staff are very helpful, especially with area & restaurant recommendations . Every room has balcony with a great view, so you can't go wrong. We also enjoyed the cocktail hour and especially enjoyed breakfast cooked for you each morning. I agree with the coffee comment & commented on... more

We stayed at Taharaa after a 3-day business trip to Denver. We had a lovely stay. The caretakers were very accommodating and helpful, and our stay in the Lark Bunting room was great. Every room has a beautiful view, so you can't go wrong. We really enjoyed the cocktail hour and getting to know a few other guests, and we... more

This was a great place to stay over Labor Day weekend. Jimmy greeted us when we arrived and gave us a tour of everything. He was personable and very helpful. The evening beverages were perfect and Pam was helpful each night to recommend places to eat and make our reservations for us. Each time, we gave her criteria for what... more

Ken and Diane at the Taharaa Lodge have done a marvelous job in making it the perfect break away in every way. The entire property is delightful, the friendliness and local information is superb and the breakfasts are delicious. We cannot praise it more highly and look forward to returning - perhaps for Christmas next time. more

We just returned from an eight day stay in the Rocky Mtn region. We spent four nights at Taharaa Mountain Lodge. We could not have been more pleased. The lodge was wonderfully decorated. Morning coffee on our balcony looking out on the mountains was a great beginning to the day. Diane and Ken were very gracious hosts and Diane's breakfasts... more

Taharaa Mountain Lodge provides the type of accomidations one would hope for in the Rocky Mountains. It complements the scenery and provides attractive and comfortable lodgings. It is remote enough for quiet relaxation, but the restaurants and conveniences of Estes Park are but a short drive away. The proprietors are professsional and friendly without being obtrusive and the breakfasts could hardly... more

Having just returned from four nights stay at the Taharaa, what better time to share our experience with our fellow travelers. From arrival to departure, our hosts, Ken and Diane, could not have been more hospitable. They were warm, friendly and communicative at the gourmet breakfasts in the morning and "Happy Hour" in the late afternoon. The "gourmet" breakfasts were... more

Taharaa Mountain Lodge was a delightful find. Nestled against a mountain and with beautiful mountain views, it provided a quiet and very friendly stay. Our room (and the entire lodge) was beautifully furnished with solid hardwood doors, beamed ceilings and first class amenities. Each room has its own balcony with a view. There is a great room and den where... more

We were looking for a peaceful and romantic get-away during Valentine's Day weekend. I had specified at the time of booking that we were interested in a "quiet" room. Diane, the owner/innkeeper booked us in the Stanley Steamer Jr. Suite. Unfortunately, we were unable to sleep that night due to the fact that we could hear the constant noise of... more
