Booked here for on site offerings that include a pool, bar and restaurant, none of which were open. Should be listed as seasonal. Photos on web site make it appear as though there are balconies or terraces off the rooms. Not so much. We stayed in room 307 which was stuffy and due to the fact that blinds don't work... More

I called the hotel and requested a room with an amazing view and that's exactly what we received. We stayed on a cold, snowy weekend and hotel workers kept the steep entrance road plowed to the best of their ability. Our room was warm and inviting; it also had been updated and had a small mini-kitchen. The reception staff was... More

We wanted to get away for the weekend and picked this charming old (100 years) hotel on the side of a mountain. Ann at the front desk was very cheerful and helpful. We requested a room with the view of the town, and it was well worth it. The opposite side of the building faces the parking lot. It's the... More

My husband and I stayed here for the first time for a few nights in February. The front desk staff were extremely friendly every time we saw them, and were able to provide wonderful suggestions on where to eat and what to do in Estes Park. The lodge itself was beautiful! Very rustic and comfortable. They always had a fire... More

We have stayed at Crag's twice, both in the offseason. The restaurant is closed in the winter and the hotel has average amenities, but you can't beat the location. It is within walking distance to downtown Estes Park and has great mountain views.

We arrived very late at 11pm from the Denver airport to check in on a Monday night and were warmly greeted and even given all ingredients for s'mores and a roaring fire in the lobby!! We were booked for 4 nights, we loved our second story room with a great view overlooking Estes Park and the Stanley Hotel across the... More

My wife and I stayed here on our winter vacation in January of 2015. If you have ever been to the mountains in January you know that at night it is COLD. VERY COLD. That being said, having leaky windows in your hotel room will not fly... with mountain wind the hotel room was frigid at the historic Crags lodge... More

After weeks of research we finally decided on this jewel in Estes Park. We were not disappointed!! This lodge was wonderful! The lodge sits up on the hill hidden in the trees. We checked in quickly by Ann, such a lovely woman, she made our trip so enjoyable! We booked a one bedroom suite. The room was perfect with a... More

We've been coming to Estes Park for a third of a century and are here this week for the 100th Anniversary of RMNP! Crags Lodge is a great place with wonderful views! From our one bedroom, two bath apartment in the annex we can look out the window and see the town, which is beautiful at night with the lights!... More

This is now a Diamond Resort called The Historic Crags Lodge. We stayed here for 3 nights. It is a beautiful old (100 years +) lodge with a great location and a beautiful view overlooking the town of Estes Park. The staff are friendly; the internet was free. There is also free parking and a library of books and movies... More
