We stayed here on a one night stopover on our way north on the 101. Crescent city was not at all attractive, and the hotel was just about ok. The staff were friendly and the room was clean but not fresh and inviting. We had a 'view' of some boats and a pile of building rubble. We didn't stay long... More

Place is dirty, dingy, not at all happy with room, smells like urine outside. I am not happy with our stay. If you have a family do not ruin your trip by staying. Staff was ok but hotel is bad. We were switched rooms after I talked to front desk. They moved me quick. Very unhappy with second room. It... More

Stayed here for a night. Checked-in late. Interiors looked old and bedding was average. Bathroom is usable with old fittings. Expected better for a hotel in popular beach town. Breakfast was good. Lot of parking.

Arrived to overwhelmingly horrible smells in their lobby. Due to Expedia booking error and pets, the "manager" not only wouldnt accept my reservation but demanded that I call Expedua and cancel otherwise if he cancelled it he would have to pay their $12 booking fee. So I spent an hour on the phone ensuring I wouldn't pay a dime to... More

To start off this place is not terrible it's just older and as my kids and wife put it "just plain scary" Again room wasn't terrible yet wasn't overly clean and didn't feel that safe with location and strange characters we saw lingering in the parking lot and at the store that is right beside the hotel. In short only... More

We had a family of 5 (two adults and 3 small kids) stay on July 28th on our way up the coast. This was not a good experience at all. My wife actually started getting hives as she started to lay down on one of the two queen beds. The sheets smelled of sweat and food and did not appear... More

The staff at this hotel were very friendly and accommodating. The one issue we had was that there was not enough coffee at breakfast. The accommodations were good and the area is lovely. One more coffee pot in the breakfast room would have fixed the problem. I would stay here again.

This hotel is very conveniently located near the beach, lighthouse and redwood forest. It has a well furnished breakfast in a sunny room. All rooms are located with an outside door. The staff at the front desk were very helpful with directions and tips.

After a long day on the road, it felt good to finally be at the hotel. It was right off hwy101, easy to find. The office was the front away from the rooms. The lobby was clean and spacious. Check in was fast. I did notice the strong curry smell in the lobby, it was just odd to be hit... More

This is a family run hotel and the owners are very friendly. However, the property looks a bit tired and lacks some TLC in places. We had noisy neighbors and the walls appear to be paper thin. Breakfast is included, its pretty much standard.
