Stayed at this hotel on March 30, 2012. Check in was good and room was very clean but basically standard room size and furnishings with a 32" LG television and small bathroom. Could hear some moderate noise from room above but was not particularly bothersome. Breakfast buffet which is provided at the next door restaurant was extremely good - in... More

Good size room, dated but nice and clean. Buffet breakfast at the adjacent restaurant was average too. Problems with the wi-fi. It worked well when we checked in then was non existent. Had to open our door and stand in the doorway to get reception, then went to the lobby to use our lap top. I am assuming the signal... More

I have stayed here six times now . I recently added this area to my business travels and was worried I wouldn't find a reasonable place to stay near the beach . While you do have to cross the highway I can live with that . The rooms I have had have been clean and quiet . I have had... More

I stayed at this hotel one night and it was just an "okay" experience. The decor is a bit out-dated and tired, but it was spotless. There are no elevators if that's important to you. The sound-proofing leaves a bit to be desired--I swear I was able to hear ear-splitting snoring from the room next door! The bed was comfy.... More

The staff here were absolutely wonderful. They helped me find the perfect places to visit during my brief stay in the city. The room was well kept and clean. The restaurant that the hotel uses for the free breakfast was actually really good as well. I highly recommend this Best Western.

My husband travels to Crescent City four to five times during the fall and winter to fish salmon and steelhead in the Smith River about 10 miles north of Crescent city. He has always had a great experience staying at the BW Northwoods. They are very accomodating and friendly and as part of your stay their is a complimentary buffet... More

Check in was a little slow but little lady was by herself. No big deal. For an old hotel it is pretty nice. layed out in five different buildings. Decent stay for under $100 a night.

This Best Western should not have a Plus designation. This property games the new rating system by offering a breakfast at an adjacent restaurant that does not meet the standard of even a most basic breakfast served in the most basic hotels.

Dear Guest, We are very sorry that the breakfast that was offered did not meet your preferences, we are always trying to find ways to specialize the breakfast buffet so that our guests receive a wide variety! Many hotels don't offer the larger choices of Scrambled Eggs, Biscuits and Gravy and Grilled Ham on top of Pancakes, French Toast and... More

I thought this place was nice. The kids loved the pool, rooms were clean, beds were pretty comfy, and the included buffet breakfast next door was great. We would stay here again.
