We stayed at this property during our trip to the Redwoods. The motel looks quite shabby from the outside. But, the room was unexpectedly very clean! It also had microwave, refrigerator and TV. We had an ocean view room on the second floor. It had a really nice view of the pacific. Considering the price I paid, I won't expect... More

It was a better place to crash than my car, my boyfriend and I were exhausted and needed a hot shower and warm bed. That's precisely what we received. Street noise was insistent on disrupting us but considering the location it was expected. For less than sixty dollars it served the purpose.

We went on an unplanned weekend trip and got into town late, the gal behind the desk was very polite and helpful. The room was a bit dated but it was clean, the bed was comfy and the heater worked. It's not a 5 star resort but if you just need a place to crash for the night this place... More

Staff friendly. Room was basic for a night's stay. No hairdryer, so bring your own if you need one. Limited towels in room, and they were quite thin. The room did have a refrigerator, which we needed. Overall, and old hotel, but everything worked.

just an average motel, nothing really to gripe about. about 1 and a half mile walk to Chart room restaurant, but close to downtown, with just burger bars and safeway. No breakfast included, but clean and large enough room, just a bit uncared for. Lady at reception did get help for us with our luggage, she did her best.

Very old property in definite need of some updates! Rooms are very small, and dated. Bed wasnt very comfortable, and the walls are paper thin! So if there is someone loud in the room next to you, you will hear every word/sound thats made ( And vice versa) . Having said that, the room was clean and the staff was... More

This is not your Hilton, Hyatt, or even Holiday Inn. If you just want a basic motel room that won't cost you an arm and a leg, this is it! The location can't be beat, right across from the Cultural center, walking to the beach front and park, right next to the southbound 101. They must have put a fresh... More

We were on a road trip from Seattle to San Francisco, and stopped at the Front Street Inn for one night. If all you are looking for is a clean and comfortable bed for the night, this is it. The owners were really nice, the room was clean, had a fridge and a microwave, and the bathroom was ok. The... More

If you are the type of traveler who requires high-end linens, toiletries and decor, this is not the place for you. If you want the basics - value, location, cleanliness, and friendly service - give the Front Street Inn a try.
