We had reservations months in advance. ( We travel to area up to 3 times per year.)Called and asked if pet friendly..."Yes, we are".... (Didn't mention it was room exclusive.) Arrived only to find the special room we booked was NOT pet friendly! We ended up having to get two separate rooms, one being a "handi-capped" stinky/smelly room with a... more

Large room, very clean, fridge, microwave, friendly staff, continental breakfast a plus. Ask for a room upstairs, that's where you get the ocean view and you can keep the windows open at night, no worries, be aware, you will hear the ocean waves at night and the seals barking. Did not bother us. There is a trailer park behind the... more

This hotel is NOT worth the money. They state that every room has ocean views, but we could only see the ocean from one corner of our room. Other rooms face a trailer park, which they also don't mention on their website. Room was clean, continental breakfast a plus, but find a different hotel to stay in Crescent City. more

We were rolling in to town late on Saturday so we knew that our options were limited. We were looking for the Bay View Inn but somehow got it mixed up with this place. We called and he quoted us 150 for the night, but we didn't have any other option (and he knew it). We got in about 1am... more

Fine for one night--sketchy area, view of the trailer park fronting the shore--good rate, you get what you pay for. Room was clean and sparse, bathroom was badly lit, bathroom window was right by corridor where people walk by. Front desk staff very friendly, continental breakfast adequate. Free wireless internet. more

Pretty nice place, great service at the front desk. People have complained about the noise on Hwy 101, but it didn't bother us at all since we are used to sleeping in noisy Chicago. more

Room was large and clean. L-shaped layout, lower numbered rooms are on the freeway - very noisy! We'd stay again but would sacrifice ocean view for a room off the freeway. more

I have stayed here several times a year for the last eight years and have nothing but positive things to say. Check in has always been pleasant. Whether it is multiple rooms or traveling with our English Bull dog, the owners have always accommodated us. The rooms are not fancy, but they are clean and comfortable. The water pressure in... more

We stayed here on a road trip up the coast from the SF Bay Area. Very nice hotel with big, clean, well decorated rooms. The beach is right over the road, as is the fishing marina, with several nice seafood restaurants. There is no pool, but a very nice communal hot-tub. more
