Needed a good, clean, reasonable hotel conveniently located in Crescent City. This place fit the bill. Our request for a second floor, non-smoking and non-pet room was honored. New hand towels, adequate sized flat screen HDTV with cable and paper "ribbon" across the john noting it was cleaned. Not a fancy breakfast but LOVE those "make your own malted waffles".... More

We booked 2 nights as a location to explore the Redwoods. Our room was a queen with Ocean View on the second floor . No elevator . This was our 8th different accommodation on a west coast road trip & priced on par with most of our nights with one exception. I had no major complaint and would return. Very... More

My family of 19 people including kids stayed here overnight on the way to Redwood National Park. Considering the short notice for the booking we were able to get 4 rooms with double and triple queen beds. I have to say it was a very comfortable night stay. Rooms were clean, beds very comfortable and quiet. There was continental breakfast... More

We were disappointed with this motel. We were unfamiliar with this area and pretty much stopped at the first place we saw traveling northbound up the coast. The room was spacious but didn't feel or look that clean plus it is old and furniture is beat up. The mattress is old and not so comfortable. The bathroom smelled like urine... More

We had an ocean view queen room. Very spacious. Comfortable bed. Everything very clean. Much better value than several other motels at around the same price that we have used in the past week. On arrival another guest was in the lobby complaining about the view from a room that did not overlook the ocean. The receptionist handled this matter... More

A nice motel on the South edge of Crescent City. Harbor is close by as well as a few nice eateries. The rooms are large and face the Highway or in the rear a trailer park for traveling fisherman. Overall I liked our stay @ the Anchor Beach Inn and the cost was very reasonable. We did not sample the... More

When we reserved a room, we asked for an ocean view and we got it. Reception was friendly. Our room on the second floor was large, well furnished and smelt good. However there is no elevator. WI-Fi and breakfast was ok. The hotel is located near a few seafoods restaurant at a short walk. We didn't hear any noise at... More

Yes, this motel is along the ocean but three-fourths of the rooms look out on an RV park. The rooms are okay, the breakfast has all the usual hard boiled eggs and bagels but a bonus is the waffle maker. We were tired after a long day of driving it was an okay place to sleep and keep driving the... More

As noted by other reviewers, this is a very basic highway motel, but clean. A few of the rooms on the south side face the bay, but most face an RV parking lot. The best thing about Anchor Beach Inn, judging from my one night, is that the rooms are very large, the bedding comfortable, the wifi free. The main... More

A/C unit in the room, but the a/c didn't work. I had a ground floor room, and it was adjacent to an RV park...so no way was I opening / leaving the window open. Other than that, the room / hotel was very nice, clean, big room...very nice hotel.
