We stayed here in our trailer and were able to get one of the sites among the Redwoods. The staff were friendly and efficiently checked us in and helped us with very thorough recommendations for things to see and do in the surrounding area. The facilities were clean and in good repair. The wifi was very good near the clubhouse... More

The nice thing about KOAs is that you always know what you're getting with your money . This place is clean , family friendly , and big camp spots. A little bit for everyone ... Also very helpful and friendly staff. Will definitely come back If you are traveling with little kids there is a playground and what I found... More

I liked the space for our tent, and the owner walked us there, but he wasn't very happy. The staff seemed bored and gruff, and very much in their own worlds, beautiful area though. No bugs which was nice! We'll probably stay again if we ever travel down the coast. Doesn't have a pool or fun activities, which we knew... More

We booked this last minute to escape the record heat and smoke from valley fog. With a AAA discount was about $74/night. Pros: it is clean. No dust, no dirt, bugs, smell. It's in the redwoods, with some cute goats to feed, bikes to rent, and a little arcade. There is a nice laundry, and the restrooms are spotlessly clean... More

I have never stayed at a KOA campground before but this was a great experience. There are lots of tent and trailer spots and also mini cabins. I stayed in a mini cabin and loved it. I was in 15. It was perfect for 4 people. A full/queen and bunk bed. Cabin 14 had room for 6 people with the... More

We stayed here for two nights. The first was in a tent site nestled between some of the redwoods. Amazing, breathtaking, quiet, clean, and cold! So the second night we stayed upgraded to a cabin. The cabin was nice, clean, warm, and still nestled in the redwoods. If we ever come back to the area this will be our first... More

I rarely give 5 stars to anything, but this campground earned it. We camped in our own little secluded forest area, and it was in the heart of the redwoods. The staff was super friendly, and it was so peaceful! In the tent area the tall trees made it so dark and cool, which is a must for summer camping!

This was one of the better KOAs we have stayed at. Our site (tent) was right in the Redwoods and we very much enjoyed the setting. The bathrooms were heavily used, so at times got dirty. The firewood was expensive. The location was great. The people were friendly. Overall, we were pleased and if in the area would stay again.

Some of the cabin and tent sites are pretty nice, Rv sites are a trailer court at best. Some what of a crap shoot if you will get a good or bad tent or cabin site. We had someone in a cabin site next to us and they didn't last 20 minutes. Not sure why. Right next to highway 191... More

Beyond nice. Great fenced in dog area as well as nice paths in campground. Restrooms were clean. Great separation with trees between most of the sites. Cabins & tent spaces were booked full as well as Rv sites. Also have Deluxe Rv sites with swing gliders & concrete patios. Pancake breakfast for $3.50 sat & sun & tues & thirs.... More
