We enjoyed our stay at the Crescent City KOA. The girl in the office was friendly, helpful, and competent. Our deluxe camping cabin ("KK") was perfect for our family of six. There were two bunks, a futon, and a REAL queen sized bed in the bedroom (this was very welcome after sleeping on camping pads for the previous 3 nights... More

This is a family friendly campground. We had (4) 3-5 year olds with us and spent 4 days / 3 nights exploring the felled redwoods, stumps and trails. There is a playground, but the kids found that it was not nearly as exciting as natures playground, with "doors" in the tree stumps, and plenty of climbing, under, over and through.... More

This is an excellent campsite and a refreshing change for a KOA. We couldn't fault it at all hence the 10 out of 10. It was also refreshing that it was $36 pn with our KOA discount, recently the campsites we have stayed at have been truly overpriced for far less amenities and service. The owner is friendly and helpful,... More

The location of this KOA in the redwoods is really great. The children liked the petting zoo and the playground. We had a campsite originally but we upgraded to a cabin, which was no problem. We would stay here again, because of its close access to the beach and the redoods.

We stayed at this KOA in early July and were not disappointed. We were able to book 2 nights in one of the cabins. We rented the cabin with full bath and kitchen (Stove top and microwave and full fridge), slept 6 people. One bedroom with a queen bed, bunk beds and pull out couch with a bed. Beautiful property... This campground is right off the main road, so it is easy to get too, but don't picture that you are deep into the woods. It was a good option for us though because the cabin was still cozy and convenient for our last minute request. There were only two of us so we took the two twin mattresses and... More

I am used to environmental camping where the car is a good hike away, this camp site gave me the same feeling with the car close by. The staff is very friendly. We camped in the redwoods which is away from the main part of the camp. It was almost like we were the only ones. We had two problems,... More

What a beautiful KOA! Our spot was roomy and the employes were friendly and helpful. Restrooms were clean, and the laundry facilities were nice. We traveled in a 28 ft. Trailer and had plenty of room. Met some great people. If your planning a trip to the Redwoods, this is your perfect accommodations.

It's not easy to find a nice place to camp in the California redwoods at the last minute before the 4th of July weekend, but we hit the jackpot when we found a site at this KOA. Although much of the campground looks like a parking lot with all the RV "campers", the tent and cabin sites are right in... More

I probably would have rated this KOA higher but they stuck us in an area that made us feel like tenters were to be out of site. The focus here seems to be on their cabins and RVs. The campground sports all of the typical KOA amenities and was well kept. The staff courteous. The tenters are sent to the... More
