RV sites are definitely not spacious! Our truck/5th wheel combo is almost 50' and the fit was pretty tight. The first site we were assigned to had large bushes growing into the site; we could not have accomodated our slide-out. The RV park setting is pleasant and the staff was agreeable when we asked for a different site. Family traveling... More

The park outside was pretty well taken care of in general. However, we used the laundry room. It was dirty. Had to clean sand out of a couple of the washers before I could use them. Then, one washer took my money and wouldn't work. Another was filled with water. Understood they had a water problem the night before, but... More

Simple campground. Never used the bathroom or showers. Site was a bit noisy being parked in the front of the campground next to the road - but was still able to get a good night sleep. It rained most of the evening and early morning while we were there, but were able to get out during the day and do... More

I made a reservation a month prior to my arrival. It was a family trip for our anniversary and daughters 5th birthday. I just happened to call prior to leaving and first they couldn't find my reservation. When they found it they had me down for 30 amp instead of 50. That does me no good in the summer. They... More

We would rank this park good, not very good, but Trip Advisor doesn't yet provide that option. It is very well located with the Jedediah Smith Redwoods at the doorstep and not too far from Crescent City as well. It has lots of green spaces that aren't perfectly manicured but nice enough with lots of trees that add shaded privacy.... More

We stayed eight days at this marvelous RV Resort for $209 with full hook-ups, excellent wifi, and lots of space around our site. Yes, the pull through sites are parallel and you need to known how to drive an RV to set yourself up properly, but while we were there they spaced people apart so there was no problem (Memorial... Very friendly staff at the office. Laundry, tv room, meeting area/church service area was very clean but straight out of the 1970s. Adorable. Layout of the park was unique. The pull-throughs were like parallel parking but you actually DID pull through. This gave us privacy which we enjoyed. Concrete patios and cute street lights at each site. WIFI was useless... More

This park states that it has pull thru spaces, but they are really parallel parking. The spaces can get can tight when the sites are all full. You will have to wait or ask others to move their trailer in order to get out. The dog park has grass as tall as my knee cap, the gate does not lock... More

This is a great base to explore the north end of Redwood National Park and the Smith River National Recreation Area. It is located just one mile from Jedediah Smith Redwoods State Park, and its many hiking trails. The Pacific Ocean is located just seven miles away, with beautiful beaches both north and south of Crescent City, the nearest town.... More

There is a lot of green space at Hiouchi RV Resort. Our large campsiite was on the creek and shaded (which the cats LOVED!). The park is large, but the sites are widely spaced. My only complaint was a weak WiFi signal...but they told me that when I checked in and asked if I wanted a site closer to the... More
