This is a very secluded cabin, literally just a stones throw away from the Smith River. The water is as crystal clear and refreshing as any i've experienced, and there are big rocks to jump off of. We arrived when the weather was in the triple digits and it was hard to get us out of the cool water. The hosts live just a few hundred feet from this cabin and are as friendly and accommodating as can be. This place is also a popular fishing destination. A few warnings: Electricity is provided by a small generator, so there is no AC, microwave, coffeemaker or any big power drawing appliances. Also the circular staircase has no railing, so be careful!. Don't get discouraged though, because apart from that the place is very clean and updated. There is a large deck, a BBQ, a fire pit, and the kitchen and bathrooms are as nice as can be. Also Bella the dog is always be willing to play fetch. We will certainly return! more
