A scary place.. needs to be blown up and something else put in it's place. We were on a return trip from PA and needed to stay near Thompson CT for a meeting the next day. Someone recommended we stay here. Big Mistake.. we arrived at 12:30 am, exhausted from 5 hours of driving. We had made 2 reservations, they... More

Do yourself a favor and book elsewhere. Black mold on tub caulking and the water doesn't drain. The room was filthy, the tub was black, floors needed vacuuming. Blown light bulbs, broken electrical fixtures, wifi throughout not working, handle came right off the sink and this was the upgraded room. The place is damp and reeks of the dampness/mildew. Earwigs... More

First time staying here. Place is old (gotta love the seafoam green fixtures in the bathroom--60s flashback!) but clean and in good repair. Room includes fridge and microwave. Nice touch: they offer continental breakfast, delivered to your room. Select beverage, pastry, time desired, etc, put hangtag on door by 1:00 AM, and they do the rest. Is about 6 miles... More

This is called King's Inn now. We have stayed here several times over the last few years as we have family in the area. Not to bad of a place to stay but it does need some refreshing. For the price its not to bad. The place has a nice helpful staff.

Wi Fi was a joke was unable to get it most of the time. There was only one staff lady that knew how to fix it so you had to hope it was her shift or her day on or no wi fi. and you didn't dare touch the router or a note would be left or the whole router... More

This hotel is old and really needs some serious maintenance. I usually try to look for something good but this one was really hard. The mexican restaurant out front no longer is and just appeared to be abandoned. The hotel/inn appeared to need some serious landscaping and the buildings exterior needed some serious help. We arrived in the mid morning... More

The name now is Kings Inn. A trip down memory lane. Pretty run down, but full of nostalgia. Cottage cheese ceiling, wallpaper with a floral border at the top, ancient Mediterranean furniture like that in my 1966 apartment. An old Zenith TV! Two remotes, one to turn it on, the other to change channels. 5-light chandelier with only one working... More

We booked three rooms for one night as we were in town for a wedding. All 3 rooms were dirty enough that no one wanted to sleep under the covers. There was mold in bathrooms and hairs found in 2 of the rooms. One room on the ground floor had a nice view of the pond but the window had... More
