We stayed at this hotel a couple of years ago and it is at the top of our "worst hotel experiences" list. Out of curiosity, we wanted to see what others were saying about it now. Doesn't sound like much has changed. more

If you find this is the only place to stay (I'm not sure), GO TO ANOTHER TOWN or ask if someone will let you stay in their garage. We've stayed in a lot of Super8's across the country. My husband and I had a family commitment that required us to stay at the Super 8 Motel in Pipestone, otherwise this dingy gem would have never crossed our path. First off, this place is dirty---really dirty! We wore our sandals in the shower and our relatives (who had an infant) were afraid to bathe their child in the tub!... more

If you have to go to Pipestone MN, this hotel is adequate. We only needed a bed to sleep in as we were visiting for a high school graduation celebration....and most of our time was spent at friends. Pack light, if you end up staying on the second floor there is no elevator. Coffee isn't very good, but continental breakfast... more

Hotel staff was surley and had to hunt down desk clerk at checkout, at first refused to provide itemized bill but after several min's grudging printed one off. Also room did not have bath towels only hand towells staff told this traveler that they would look into it (never did hear back from them) Linens are thread bare and box... more

I found this Super 8 sub-par to my expectations of a Super 8. Room was well worn and needed upgrading. Not as clean as expected. I had to ask for a receipt at check-out and it seemed like it was a chore for the desk clerk to do this. more
