I wrote a review the other day and now I don't see it. Someone has written a new review stating that it was good several years ago. Believe me, it is no longer a motel, but a another kind of private residential facility. Please check it out for yourself. I know someone who lives there and have visited her several... More

It was a few years ago we stayed there but I am sure it is the same. People that give that little bit extra deserve a mention. The place is clean and very good value. Food was from a restaurant a couple of paces away. Great portion and very tasty. Furniture being made of logs was amazing and certainly made... More

We had a great experience here, loved the place and especially the people. They were so helpful. I'm amazed there is a review with a low score, especially since the people didn't even stay there! They just didn't like their experience with a website. Please ignore that one and read the others. They give you a much better idea of... More

My husband and I were on a Harley trip across the country and our next stop was the Grand Canyon. A sudden thunderstorm made it impossible for us to see, so we turned around and headed back to Fredonia to find a place to stay for the night. The owners of the Juniper Lodge were very helpful and honest about... More

Due to last minute emergencies at home, we left for our vacation a few hours later than expected. I had made our reservation with the Juniper Lodge early in July, but I still worried that our room would go to some other traveler, since I was not required to leave a deposit. Our cell phones were out of commission most... More

My 10 year old son and I were travelling from the Grand Canyon to Salt Lake City. We took the beautiful 89A route. Jet lag caught up with us and I needed to sleep-- no rooms along the scenic way. We were advised to travel to Kanab, but were lucky to find the Juniper Lodge earlier. Clean room with internet... More

According to [---], Crazy Jug Motel became Juniper Lodge in 2007. I went to the above website asking to availability and rate on July 7. Got an email quote on July 8. I called three times on July 9 and left two messages on the answer machine at [---]. I called twice on July 10, and sent an email telling... More

I first went to the Crazy Jug Motel in 2003. I was on my way to the Grand Canyon (north rim) after a side trip to Bryce Canyon and I was looking for a standard chain : Best Western Motel 6, Super 8, whatever. Of course, there wasn't anything like that in that area so I was "stuck" in Fredonia,... More
