This Super 8 - East is located just off I-40 at the Juan Tabo Blvd. Exit. (Second exit from I-40 westbound entering Albuquerque). The pictures you see on the website are certainly staged photos. The hotel very seedy. Maybe worth $30 a night but we were leary of putting our heads down on the pillows. We ended up walking out (do to the previous tenant smoking in a non-smoking room) and went across the street to another hotel. more

Stayed at the Super 8 Midtown last year for the balloon festival, stayed at the East one this year. They are great-- overwhelmed with people during the festival, but they are cheerful, helpful and great to deal with. And-- the rooms in both hotels are large and VERY clean. Great place to stay. more
