Candlewood Suites is a great find. Loved the kitchen, stocked with dished for two, a full-size refrigerator, a microwave oven, a stove top, and a nice size sink. The bathroom was roomy, the room was large and comfortable, the desk was nicely situated, and the internet connection was by ethernet, free but incredibly slow - only problem I encountered. I'd... more

Pressed for time, we left Phoenix for Chicago on the evening of Mother's Day and drove non-stop to Albuquerque. We had made reservations at this hotel about a week ahead of time, having been previously "burned" with exorbitant last-minute reservation fees. The price was unbeatable (below $55 for a mini-suite), the place had all the requisite amenities, easy in/easy out,... more

I stayed in this facility for 16 days due to work. The rooms definitely could have been cleaner. I accidentally spilled some lotion on the wall and went to wipe it off and the washcloth came black pretty dirty and it wasn't from the lotion. The room was only cleaned once a week, so in that 16 day stay I... more

My wife and I stayed here during a week long golf vacation. The room was great, very clean and had a quite comfortable bed. The kitchen area was well stocked. The room had a stove top full size fridge and a microwave. It was great to be able to reheat the leftovers from the doggie bag. We had a great... more

This is a decent, newer property. The construction is average and the furnishings are mediocre; certainly no worse nor any better than any other extended-stay hotel. The sound-proofing is so-so and the kitchen and bathroom already could stand to be renovated. To be sure, this hotel didn't win any brownie points with me by failing to turn off the previous... more

The Candlewood Suites offers a perfect set up. Very affordable compared to other properties. Clean, comfy, safe, a great central location. Very friendly, helpful staff. A great find. Check out Richards, in the shopping center across the way, for wonderful, inexpensive breakfasts and lunch. more

We have been traveling to Albuquerque quite a bit recently, trying to sell a home. We certainly wish we had found Candlewood, before this, our last trip. For $69.99, we had the most comfortable bed I've slept on in any hotel under $180/night, a large 1 Queen bed room (plenty big for two) and an extremely helpful desk staff -... more

This hotel was the cheapest choice for a last minute vacation deal and was surprisingly decent for a no-frills room. Easy to get to and from ABQ airport, clean, quiet, no crowds, good location, easy parking (+no charge). Pleasant desk staff. Sealy Posturepedic bed...excellent! Can cook in the rooms too. The only negative was the A/C was a bit loud,... more

I felt a recent review would be helpful as the postings when I was searching are from so far back. At least in English. I was a bit leary from the remarks I read to stay here but those concerns were quickly resolved once I arrived. The lobby is very simple - no where you'd want to hang around! The... more

Room was clean, and very large. Front desk folks were helpful and friendly. I have stayed here four to five times and keep coming back when I'm in ABQ on a biz trip. Hard to beat the price compared to other hotels in the area. I'll keep staying at this property. more
