I stayed here while attending the Balloon Fiesta this year. At $200 a night, this was certainly not a value, but I booked late and was told this is the expected rate during the week-long festival. The hotel is typical of most Courtyards -- clean, quiet and comfortable but nothing special. It is only a 10-minute drive from the hotel... more

Typical Courtyard, though the rooms (mine at least) are smaller than most. A room facing into the courtyard is a must;otherwise you are subjected to I25 traffic right outside your window. Don't depend on the restaurant: It closes when the staff feels like it, ignoring the posted hours. There are much better - and cheaper - places to eat nearby.... more

Guessed at this choice and were very pleased - stayed 3 days as a base for exploring Albuquerque before going on to Santa Fe. The Journal Center area is removed from the central ABQ, but is surrounded by many amenities and corporate businesses, all well landscaped. Being several miles north of downtown proved to be an advantage - an easy... more

We live two hours from Albuquerque and frequently go down for one night stays. This was our first stay at the Courtyard. It was a very nice hotel, lobby was welcoming, front desk staff helpful, nice linens in the room. We will probably stay here again. more

I'm not especially fussy about hotels, but when they are noticably bad, it gets to me. Marriott Courtyard is normally a reasonable place to stay but I can't recommend the one in Albuquerque. My room was tired, in need of renovation and very noisy with the freeway wizzing by just outside the window. Got to the hotel tired and hungry,... more

I picked this hotel due to other positive reviews and after first night of four I thought we had made a great decision until we couldn't get housekeeping service after 11:30 am despite personally seeing housekeeping and telling them they could make up our room as we were going swimming (11 am) & came back @ 12:30pm and room still... more

We came to Albuquerque for the International Hot Air Baloon Festival and We choose this hotel because it's a close to the Fiesta Park and we paid 175.00 for one night. The room is OK, I was not expected 5 stars rate hotel here, but the service was terrible. No tranportation service to the fiesta park.No one at the front... more

From Alaska to Florida by far the worst beds i have ever slept in. Complained to desk for a new room was told all the beds were similiar. If you like sleeping in a bed not on one these are for you. My matteress was so cheap if you sat on the end it would rise off the bed.--I feel... more

I stayed at the Courtyard Marriott at Journal Center for two nights on July 21 and 22. Since this was a very quick trip to New Mexico I wanted a hotel that would give me the feel of being in the Southwest, rather than a generic chain or a convention type hotel. This Marriott delivered. It is build in adobe... more

Full marks to Marriott Courtyard for getting the message - a superbly comfortable sleep on a gorgeous new bed with fluffy feather pillows and soft snuggly feather bedcover over crispy white sheets. Nowhere can you find such comfort at such a great price. If only airlines would do this for their long haul cabin customers - those of us who... more
