Nice place in downtown ABQ. Right on Rt 66, cool retro motor hotel with secure parking and yummy breakfast to boot. This was my 2nd stay and it is a perfect place to crash if you're going up to the slopes of Santa Fe, Angel Fire, Taos. The accommodations are similar to La Quinta style. I made my reservation direct... More

I guess everyone's standards are different. We were quoted on the phone and when we checked in at 2am for $74 a night but was charged $79. They will have to check with the manager to see about refunding us. Pros: Both the night and day receptionist were friendly. Memory foam bed and nice flat screen TV. Bed can be... More

Beautiful building and decor. Met with freshly baked cookies and coffee available in the breakfast room. Unbelievably comfortable Tempur Memory Foam mattress and electric fire in the room. Spotlessly clean and WiFi that works 100% of the time. Toiletries supplied. Secure car park and the staff allowed us to leave our car there until mid-afternoon whist we walked to the... More

My wife and I stayed here for one night before heading to Santa Fe. We got to the hotel about 1 in the morning. There were some homeless people in the park across the street. Which might be a little intimidating for some people. In the morning my wife and I walked to the rail runner train station which is... More

I recently spent 4 nights at the Hotel Blue for my friend's wedding. This hotel may not look like much from the outside but the room was amazing! It had plenty of room in the closet for the bridesmaids dresses and everything I had to bring along. The beds were incredibly comfortable and we had a great view of the... More

So, all the reviews of people freaking out about the location and checking out before they even checked in had me on high alert. My friend and I wanted somewhere close to the Sunshine Theatre because we were there for a concert. Knowing Albuquerque, downtown is not a great place to stay especially for two young girls. So whatever we... More

This hotel looks like it was built in the late 1950s to early 1960s. The outside does show signs of age. Inside the rooms were very nice and well maintained. A power strip provided sufficent outlets for use of and recharging electronics. The big screen TV had both local channels and Direct TV. The bed was very comfortable. Good morning... More

OK, it's across the street from a park with homeless people, the parking lot is gated, people hanging around the entrance smoking...not a great first impression. BUT, it has a free shuttle, free breakfast and very comfortable beds. Other than that, it's pretty average but a good value for the downtown area. I'd stay again if I had an event... More

This budget hotel was better than I expected. Though the outside didn't look too inviting, the room was very nice, clean and comfortable (and quiet!). The Hotel Blue had, in my experience, by far the best breakfast of hotels in this pricerange in southwest America.

There were some excellent things about the Hotel Blue. The location is very good. The beds were very comfortable. The breakfast was substantial (bacon, sausage, eggs, waffles, breads, etc.) and the coffee was very good. My only complaint was the parking. There is a gated lot that you access with the card that is your room key. The problem is... More
