Dirty, noisy, unfriendly, bad location... It was like a crack house in a third world country... I took pictures of the dirty towels, smashed giant bugs on the walls, dirt and steins on the cups and coffee maker, and best of all, THE PIECE OF TOE NAIL I found in the sheets...this place needs to be shut down... Oh! And... More

This hotel is nicely located in downtown Albuquerque close to restaurants and bars. We arrived early (before lunch) and were able to check in straight away. We had a room with a view over downtown. The room itself was great - clean, roomy with a tempurpedic mattress that hubby fell in love with (now to save up for one at... More

This is a funky, hip nicely renovated motel turned boutique hotel downtown conveniently located near lots of restaurants and bars. The parking was free and secure in a gated self serve lot, and we felt safe walking around at night. The room was comfortable, clean, contemporary and the Tempurpedic beds were a great surprise. Amenities include free airport shuttle and... More

I have stayed at this hotel so many times. I love it's view of Downtown ABQ on the East/South-East section of the facility, it's quiet, decent, has a full-breakfast & is equipped with Temper-Pedic beds with brand new 40" Flats, w/ DirecTV. Also, it's conveniently located to some of the funnest cantinas, restaurants, bars & night-life of Duke City USA!... More

Have stayed at Hotel Blue many time and it's always comfortable, clean, quite, great tv's and super nice beds. The area is in a bit of disrepair but it's safe and close to bars, plaza and zoo/aquarium. The pool is great in the summertime. Also, PET FRIENDLY!!!!

The exterior of the hotel--as well as the (outdoor) elevator areas on each floor--is pretty worn and give the place a questionable appearance. But the rooms are comfortable, clean, and quiet. Service at the hotel was excellent, and they offer many amenities (generous free breakfast, free transportation to the airport, free WiFi, free secure parking, lots of satellite TV channels,... Attended a medical conference downtown, but wasn't really interested in paying the high prices of a "convention hotel". This was a nice alternative. The rooms feature Tempurpedic mattresses, so the sleep experience was divine. Access is from outside walkways, which may be problematic in very cold, inclement weather, but really, how often does THAT occur in Albuquerque? The complimentary breakfast... More

I'm on my 3rd night staying here with a group of university students. The Hotel Blue was significantly less expense than higher end hotels closer to the Convention Center. Yet--it's only about a 10-15 minute easy walk to the Convention Center. The hotel does look worn and a bit out of date. However, we've found the rooms relatively clean and... More

This hotel is in, what appears to be, a run down part of the town. Parking is in a secured area and people on the street were pushing carts with their lives in. The room was basic. The mattress was one of the posturpedic mattresses which was a soft foam mattress which was very uncomfortable. The pillows were high and... More

It seems like the hotel owners are trying to bring this hotel back to life. Check-in was a very smooth process. The hotel rooms are from an outside entrance. The wifi worked very well. They have pumps at the sink and in the shower for soaps and shampoos. The breakfast was free and had a good selection of choices. The... More
