Hotel Blue has only two things in it's favor - low rates and very good beds. The hotel has seen better days. The rooms are well passed being updated. The door to our room looked like someone had chipped at the paint for several years. The rooms all have exterior entrances meaning other guests, in various states of drunkeness wander... More

If you're looking for a Motel 6 but want to pay twice as much, then The Hotel Blue is for you. But if you want a nice, comfortable hotel, then look elsewhere. Design: Clearly the architects had previously majored in designing public housing blocks. If you're looking for council estate chic, then you will marvel at the wrap-around walkway design.... More

I like staying in independent hotels. Like others, I was encouraged by the good reviews, only to have them a bit shattered when we arrived. It was definitely not funky or boutique-y. It was just tired. Check in was fine. I thought I had a reservation, but didn't, but no problem getting us a room. Was fairly encouraged until I... More

Extremely nice Hotel in downtown Albuquerque. Clean, big rooms and the most comfortable bed you'll find in any hotel. Close to everything downtown. Nice to have directtv for music channels. Hot breakfast. Great stay.

This was a real disappointment after the good reviews. Building was old and dirty. A coat of paint might help. Furniture is worn and old. Clean ,bed and breakfast both OK. It did not seem like a 3 star hotel.

By funky, you walk from railroad station, Amtrak, Roadrunner to Santa Fe, airport a mile away, University and student shops, plus Central has a car truck parade Sunday night, great movie theater 3 blocks, and some downside versus upside its all good. The Blue has clean comfy rooms with sunset or sunrise. Typical breakfast eggs and sausage, etc. Bucks coffee.... More

The room was confortable and clean. The staff were friendly and accomodating. They even helped us out in getting a room a little bit earlier than the usual time (15:00) as we arrived to Albuquerque really early and were very tired. The hotel was very close to the center and many shops and restaurants. For the rate we were charged,... More

Can't say enough about the staff. Very helpful. Very good breakfast w/ Starbucks coffee. Love the Temppupedic mattress. Very noise one night a week. Cruiser night is every Sunday night. You got to love old cars. Historical Route 66

Dirty, noisy, unfriendly, bad location... It was like a crack house in a third world country... I took pictures of the dirty towels, smashed giant bugs on the walls, dirt and steins on the cups and coffee maker, and best of all, THE PIECE OF TOE NAIL I found in the sheets...this place needs to be shut down... Oh! And... More
