On a recent road trip across the country, I stayed one night at the La Quinta West in Albuquerque, NM. The exterior looked nice, but the interior was starting to show some wear; hallway carpets were a little worn in some places, and the elevator was very slow and had some graffiti scratches. The staff was friendly and helpful. And... More

I'm not sure I would stay here again. I would try a different hotel for around the same price. The elevator smelled liked old fried food and the hallway smelled of cigarette smoke. My room smelled ok. The room appeared dirty and it was run down. Bathroom floor was not cleaned well. Carpet was dirty. Bed was comfortable enough. Traffic... More

If you are a dog owner or don't mind being awakened several times a night by barking dogs this is your place. The motel itself is very nice for the price. Roomy with comfortable beds, large bathroom, and good work space. The downside is in a 5 floor hotel they have no floor or rooms set aside for non pet... More

Situated at the end of a row of really seedy looking motels, the La Quinta was a pleasant surprise. The room was spacious and very clean, the desk clerks were pleasant and friendly and the breakfast was much more edible than many I have endured. The proximity to the interstate could be problematic to people who are sensitive to noise.... More

Overall the experience was just blah...not enough towels, dated decor, no sheets for the hide-a-bed, one paper cup in the room, no extra blankets, uncomfortable hide-a-bed, stain on the couch cushions., one trash can in the suite, no welcome packet for an elite member...just not all that

We weren't going to post a review for LA Quinta West because we did not stay there. We did have reservations but when we arrived we noticed that the every way was not very clean but we decided to go up to our room on the second floor and check it out. While in the elavator we noticed it was... More

While traveling across the country, my boyfriend and I stopped here to get a quick nights rest. We didn't plan our travels too well since this was during the Balloon Fiesta so prices were obviously more expensive and I heard that the night we stayed, the hotel was actually sold out! We've stayed at La Quinta's before so we knew... More

We spent 3 days in this hotel because of a birthday party for my husbands father...so we arrived after a 10 hr. drive. It just so happened to be the famous balloon festival at this time of the month so every nice hotel was fully booked. Fortunately there were a few rooms still available at this hotel so we booked... Okay I am not picking but the area around this LQ is a bit rough. Many trucks hard to move around trying to get into parking area. Inside your fine this is just another normal LQ, and that is good. One of the main reason we stay at LQ's is the same levels at most of their properties.

We thought we had booked a king but found it was two doubles. The staff at the desk tried to be helpful and offered a king bed but the room was a smoking room. They were more friendly in person than when we called to get directions and checked on the reservation. The size of the room was pretty good.... More
