On a recent trip to Albuquerque my wife and I stayed a total of 5 nights at the Albuquerque Grand Airport Hotel. We had stayed at this location when it was a Wyndham property. It is most convenient to the airport, in walking distance, and is a wonderful place to crash after, or before flying all day. Yes, the property... more

Filthy, disgusting & dirty. That describes the room my wife & I stayed in at the Albuquerque Grand Airport Hotel in late February, 2009. There were large stains (appeared to be blood) on the carpet. Crumbs on the carpet and desk. Pieces of dried flowers or plants also on the carpet. The windows appeared to have been wiped down with... more

I recently stayed in this hotel for a visit to UNM, and the airport was very convenient to an off-campus center location. The staff at the hotel were very nice and helpful; when I had a problem with the bill they took care of it right away. That said, the rooms themselves were very dated, with obviously old carpet etc.... more

This Sheraton renovation carries 3 stars, but we got it on Priceline for $53. What a bargain! The rooms have been re-done. We recently stayed at the Radisson ($55 on Priceline) and gave it a positive review, but this Sheraton renovation runs circles around the Radisson. The Radisson has the convenience of being surrounded by every variety of store and... more

Very close to airport, which is its main asset. The hotel is showing its age and is in need of updating. The public areas and rooms are a bit shabby. There is a bar/restaurant in the lobby. Free wireless internet. I would probably look for a more modern alternative before staying at this hotel again. more

I have travelled extensively throughout the USA, and everytime I stay at this hotel, I am treated like part of the family. The staff will bend over backwards to accomodate the guests. The rooms are not only comfortable but the hotel is also in a perfect location. Once the renovations are completed, this will certainly be the hotel that everyone... more

Stayed for one night which was one night to long!! The rooms are dirty, window treatments torn. The AC only works when the temp is above 60. The balcony door only opened 3 inches. The room was VERY hot and even when the HVAC was turned off there was a large clatter noise. This was the worst night sleep I... more

My husband had a conference to attend at the Grand Airport Hotel. Its not a bad hotel. The rooms were clean; the staff was friendly. I have nothing good or bad to say about it, other than the walls are tissue paper thin and I very much enjoyed hearing the man in the room next to us hack up flem.... more

I did get this room off of Hotwire.com so the price was right. The room was a nice, big and roomy but there was no customer service at all. The was comfy and we did get a king bed as we requested. This place is almost on the runway of the airport so it was a little noisy from the... more

My overall impression of this hotel was that it was very dated. Staff seemed a bit robotic during check-in. One of the two elevators wasn't working, so the freight elevator was available for use. Apparently, this hotel is being converted to a Sheraton, so hopefully renovations will be made because the hotel could definitely use new bed covers, carpeting, and... more
