We booked this hotel through an online travel agency and specifically booked a room with two beds. The person at that checked us in was incredibly rude and acted offended that we'd used an online travel agency to book. We were given a one bed room and told there were no two bed rooms available. We were told that maybe... more

I cannot recommend the Plaza Inn in Albuquerque. When my husband and I arrived, the clerk said she had no record of our reservation. I produced a computer printout with our confirmation information and she apologized, saying she must have inadvertently assigned us a room for the next night instead. She did find an attractively decorated room for us; but... more

My daughter and I were recently guests at the Plaza Inn. She was visiting the University of New Mexico. It is an older hotel, but the rooms are very clean and the beds are great!!! The staff was very friendly and helpful. They offer a wonderful breakfast in the mornings. Waffles, scrambled eggs, toast, biscuits and gravy, fruit, cereal, juice... more

We got in late and were told that we did not have a reservation when I had the printed confirmation from the website. The unfriendly clerk found us a room but it was not the deluxe king that we had booked and it was not $62. It was small, stinky, with broken furniture and cost us $79. I would not... more

While it may not look like a great hotel on the outside (average looking), the rooms are great. Large beds, couch, chair, desk, hot water and very functional shower (those that have stayed at hotels where the tubs do not drain will appreciate this). Wireless computer access is free and works great--strong signal. And they have a computer in the... more

Their was no need to worry as we had a great stay. Check in was great. People were nice. Room was great. Had a few lights out in our room... more

I was attending a government agency sponsored conference. All conference participants were asked to stay at this particular hotel as it was close to the conference facility and we could arrange transportation and easily meet before and after the days events if necessary. We were there for a week. The hotel was full the entire time we were there. Had... more

I had a reservation at the Plaza Inn, but when I arrived in the evening, I had a very surly, unfriendly gentleman at the main desk tell me that the hotel was overbooked and that there were no rooms available. He then proceeded to tell me that I'd have to be sent to a different hotel, except that he didn't... more

We were scheduled to stay two nights at the Plaza Inn for the purpose of taking our handicapped child to multiple medical appointments and procedures. We had requested a handicap room because our child uses a wheelchair for mobility. (Two prior phone calls were made to confirm our reservations.) Upon our arrival, the front desk clerk stated that our room... more
