This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. There is a lot of smoking that takes place inside the hotel, and the staff is unwilling to help. It seems that a dangerous crowd of people stay here. I was cornered in the elevator by two questionable men. Also, the maid went through my things and the rooms are... More

I read the bad reviews but we stayed there because they had a special rate for UNM hospital patients and our daughter had an appointment. It was not bad - the pool was working - there was hot water - the rooms were old but fairly well kept. - I think the cleaning crew could work a little harder as... More

Hotel staff couldn't find the reservation, charged other person in the room on top of my charge. Got to desk and staff seemed poorly managed, but they did thier best to help. Rooms are outdated. Name was changed and no updated e-mail to tell us it wasn't the Plaza Inn anymore.

Nice, clean, easy access to highway and a very convenient central location. Hotel is undergoing a change of ownership therefore not everything was in place and up and running, but for the most part it was a very nice stay.

Great, friendly staff. It's an older hotel and that was fine with us. We loved it! Great location, near UNM and downtown.

Surprised that Wyndham hotels would have their name associated with this motel quality facility. The property was in poor condition.

I apologize for the poor experience that you had at our property. But, as any aged prize possession, we are starting to convert our hotel to a Howard Johnson, a Wyndham property. Almost 50 years ago it was a Howard Johnson, then The Plaza Inn and now back to its roots. Its one of Albuquerque's most historic hotels. In the... More

The UNM Hospital provided a lodging list. This location was convenient for me and easy to access between my trips to the hospital.

My room was clean, if a bit worn. My bed was clean, including under the sheets. The shower had good pressure and the temperature didn't waver. All my basic needs (expected from a hotel room) were met. The hotel is apparently undergoing refurbishment, starting with the pool. The breakfast was a bit weak since they have discontinued the biscuits and... More

After checking out hotels on trip advisor and Expedia I though this recently changed over Plaza to Howard Johnson would be a nice hotel for the price ($60) but I was very wrong. I'll give it to them, the staff was very knowledgeable and friendly but that was the only benefit. Our rooms were very dated, the linens and towels... More
