We just got back from a weekend trip from Albuquerque for a short holiday to visit the zoo and aquarium. We stayed at the Marriott Hotel and we enjoyed it very much. It was a very relaxing holiday. Marriott staff are very kind and goes out of their way to make your stay a pleasant one. The rooms are smaller... more

Parking is can be a hike... drop you bags at the door and the restuarant/bar is so so, but that said. This was a very clean and nice hotel with a great location. The door on our unit had issues and as a result I could hear everything in the hallway all night. The room was renevoted yet still dated,... more

This was our second stay in nine years. The first time, we waited one hour to get breakfast service, and things haven't improved much over the last nine years. We booked our reservations last minute and decided to give the hotel a second chance. We stayed there for three nights. The room thermostat was broken, but by the time we... more

We were fortunate to stay on the 17th floor with a view of the mountains...we found the hotel staff to be very helpful. Restaurant food was better than the norm for a hotel. Debra was very friendly in the restaurant. Can't comment on the pool. Within walking distance to an outside mall. Easy access to I40. Used an Enterprise car... more

I stayed at this Marriott for almost a week. The location is okay. It's along I-40 in the "Uptown Albuquerque" area across the street from a dead mall and a newish upscale outdoor mall with a few decent restaurant choices. GOOD: Housekeeping and room service were always excellent. Restaurant staff were also very good, as was the food. The HDTV... more

I am a frequent business traveler and have stayed in many Marriott properties. This ranks a one of my worst experiences. The rooms are tiny,,.you could barely push the chair back from the desk without hitting the bed. The bathroom door had to be closed so you could get in the shower. Very noisy, if you are unfortunate enough to... more

One night in this tired, old hotel. Have come to the conclusion that the brand just doesn't matter: the age of the hotel does. This Marriott is a '60s vintage, with small rooms, narrow halls, thin doors which let all the hall noise pour through. We tried two rooms: Both reek of carpet cleaner, kind of a melted plastic smell.... more

Hotel is next to freeway and our room on the 6th floor was very noisy. Shower had only lukewarm water, even though a maintenance person supposedly fixed the problem. Also, the swimming pool was so cold you could hardly use it. No food available after 10pm so if you get in late be sure to eat elsewhere. more

I second the "Typical Marriott" review. Likewise, stayed here recently for work. Typical Marriott: rooms seem small and hallway noise transfers into the room easily to the point of being rather annoying. Lobby has a small bar and restaurant and the food is quite good and reasonably priced. The lobby isn’t very large or grand and not someplace to linger.... more

I was very wary of staying in any hotel in Albuquerque after reading the reviews. I am used to staying in five star hotels, and am very fussy when it comes to service and in particular cleanliness. I did stay on the concierge floor, and really enjoyed the lounge. I was just as happy with the lounge as I am... more
