We booked this last minute through AMEX because of an issue with our original hotel and I couldn't have been happier! It was located downtown which was close to all of the main attractions of Albuquerque. The service was great and the restaurants there was amazing - it's been awhile since I've loved a hotel restaurant. I loved the New... More

Stayed here the first weekend of December 2011. Have been thru ABQ several times on our way to Santa Fe; decided to check out this city for a change. We stayed in an Andaluz King room - beautiful, nice layout, very comfortable bed. A similar room in San Francisco, CA would cost $400 per night; ours here was about $160... More

I was booked at the Andaluz by a conference planner, so had no advance clue that I would be treated to an elegantly designed, medium-sized hotel that's been masterfully updated and staffed by gracious professionals. The public spaces are unique and lovely, the sleeping room was large and modern, the food was outstanding, and the service was exceptional. Two examples... More

My husband and I were doing a road trip from NM to CO for Thanksgiving - flying in to Albuquerque late. I found this hotel on line and could not have been more pleased. The decor, service and location were perfect. It is a little escape once you step inside. We stayed in the Asian King which had attention to... More

We were pleasantly surprised with the Andaluz. The staff is superior, the hotel is historic, but the rooms and facilities are modern, functional, and very comfortable. The bathroom had 2 sinks which we really enjoy, a glass enclosed shower we always prefer over a curtain, a very comfortable bed with a menu of pillows, windows that open (albeit just 4... More

Thank you so much for your comments and observations. We are thrilled to hear that your stay was comfortable. The owner of the hotel went to great lengths in providing an atmosphere of a home as opposed to a "typical" hotel ambiance. We look forward to your next visit and your return to the Land of Enchantment. SIncerely, Troy Byington... More

My wife and I and another couple spent Saturday night at this hotel and it was beautiful. It is a blend of a gorgeous old Spanish-style hotel (one of Conrad Hilton's first hotels), and contemporary elegance throughout. The architecture is definitely old-Spanish, but the interior designer did a spectacular job bringing in contemporary touches throughout the hotel. We had a... More

Every year around Christmas time my boyfriend and I stay at Andaluz. I look forward to it all year! The hotel is gorgeous, and the staff has always been so kind to us. Usually when we stay here, we start the night at the River of Lights (another great Albuquerque attraction!), and then we get some drinks at the rooftop... More

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We attended a wedding at the hotel that was truly memorable. The location is ideal: just minutes from the airport and in a great, very clean and walkable area (great Jazz club around the corner) The convention center only a few blocks away. The Andaluz has a crackerjack staff and the hotel leaves no detail... More

The Hotel Andaluz is a beautiful old hotel located in downtown Albuquerque, within a block of the convention center. The property is stunning yet comfortable and not stuffy in the least. The staff is friendly, yet not overly so...reserved may be a good description. My room was very small, but again very beautiful and comfortable. I understand that there are... More

Thank you for your comments and observations. I am thrilled that you found the hotel to be beautiful yet not stuffy. The main idea behind the renovation was to incorporate design with comfort and warmth. I was also happy to hear about your experience in Lucia. We spent two nights here in October. The room was huge, with a king bed, large windows which actually open, couch, chair, desk, table, etc. Separate bathroom with adjoining room containing double sinks, closet, safe. All outlets were on top pf the desk and on top of the bedside table...genius! Free wi-fi in the room, a great onsite restaurant, and... More

I was so happy to read your review and to see your comments. There was a lot of thought put into the room and the functionality, from the drawers that don't slam shut to the outlets readily available on the desktop. Thank you again and we look forward to your return visit. Sincerely, Troy Byington Hotel Manager More
