Having read many negative reviews prior to our arrival, I kept an open mind about the hotel. We arrived late on a Saturday night, and our room was not up to previous Hyatt hotel standards in other cities. On Sunday, we were out of the room for most of the day returning after 7PM and finding that our room had... more

Nice hotel - for the rate though I have stayed at better for less. Be prepared to pay extra for wireless and parking. Considering the rate compared to comparable hotels in the area I was very surprised to have to pay extra for what I consider to be baseline amenities in other hotels. more

june 10, 2009: i found myself in albuquerque, new mexico for a work conference. my boyfriend and i walked out of the airport to look for the airport shuttle that would surely be awaiting us, considering we were staying at a $160 USD/ night hotel. however, there was no shuttle. we even called the hotel to make sure. let's call... more

I stayed at the Hyatt Regency Albuquerque 17-22 May for a conference that was being held on site and paid the government per diem rate of $80. I had a gorgeous view of the sunset and sunrise, the room was clean and nicely decorated and the staff was extremely helpful. I initially received a double room in the dungeon (3rd... more

I've just come back from a short business trip in Albuquerque. I stayed at Hyatt Regency, very sleek and friendly. The hotel is situate in the down town area which pretty much goes to sleep as soon as the nearby offices close. If you have limited time head to the charming Old town that was built in 18th century and... more

Pros: * Close to the airport * Reasonably quiet rooms * Comfortable beds Cons: * Internet is $10/day and very flaky - not good for a "business" hotel! * Parking an additional $6/day * Air conditioning rattles * Concierge/desk doesn't pick up phone when you call re: flaky internet * Little things missing - phone in room didn't work, fan... more

Hotel was good, room was clean, if in need of a bit of remodeling, especially the furniture. The hotel restaurant (McGrath's) was very good, good service and good food, especially if you like Southwestern cuisine. I would go back there. more

It's been years since I stayed in this hotel; I began staying there in the early 1990s, and it was THE quality hotel in ABQ. I used to see movie stars there (they came in from Santa Fe). Given that it's a five-star hotel, I have to point out some physical flaws and I question the value of the regular... more

I booked this hotel without knowing what hotel I was booking on Hotwire, and was worried when I saw some of the 1- and 2-star reviews. However, I was pleasantly surprised to find a very clean, comfortable hotel, with large rooms, for a great price (I stayed on 2 occasions, paid $94 once and $64 the other time). For a... more
