Typical Marriott with good conference facilities meaning the equipment worked and the sound did not bleed out into the other rooms. However if you are without a car, there is absolutely no restaurants or stores to walk to as the place is located in an industrial park.

Dear R00catt, We are so happy to hear that our conference facilities worked out well for you. Thank you for writing about them. You are most correct that due to our location, we are not within walking distance of many restaurants though there are a few smaller ones within the business park including a popular Starbucks. There are also various... More

Spent 6 nights here while attending the 2013 IFRAO Conference. Excellent conference facilities, hoel staff was very accomodating, restaurant staff deserved gold medals! They appeared short staffed but always had a smile on their faces and worked hard to get us served on time and back to the speakers. The exterior of the hotel throws one for a few minutes,... More

Dear shardguard, Wow! Thank you for the great comments about our staff. They love taking care of our guests and it really showed during your conference. I agree the restaurant and kitchen team did an amazing job getting the conference attendees in and out so that you could get back to the lectures and events. We enjoyed and learned so... More

It looked like a garish monster with the Aztec red trim outside and truly odd reverse pyramid inside but it worked beautifully for our conference. The staff was very friendly and helpful, the room OK with good A/C and nice view. The bar staff and front desk personnel were very nice but the restaurant waitresses were really outstanding, attentive and... More

Attended the 2013 IFRAO conference (archaeology) which was held at the Marriott Pyramid in Albuquerque. The hotel is a classic Marriott...very nice, good facilities. They did a very nice job on our conference (would give them 5 "circles" for the conference facilities). The staff was very friendly and helpful. The only downside was that they only have two elevators and... More

Dear Maupinman, What a nice review. We are so happy that you enjoyed your stay with us. We loved having your group with us and it was so interesting for us to learn more about Rock Art from all of you. Thank you for sharing this facinating art form with us. More

If you come here expecting the standard Marriott look and feel, you will be disappointed. However, if you come here expecting a unique 3 star hotel with views of the surrounding city and desert plains, you will be pleasantly surprised. Although the hotel is showing its age, the rooms are meticulously clean, and it maintains a relaxing feel. Overall, not... More

Dear cmor369, Thank you for the nice review of our hotel. I can't agree more with you about the fabulous views from the hotel. No matter what room you stay in, the views are great. Mountains, city lights, the desert...we've got it all. Best wishes to you and we hope to see you again soon. More

We were there for a Mustang Car Show. The hotel gave the group a reduced rate, but it was no lower than the advertised sale rate. The king room was large, bed was very comfortable, beautiful decor. The only downfalls were the cost of food and drink and having to pay for the internet in the rooms.

Dear PamperedMom, Now those were some fabulous looking cars! It was great to have the Mustang Show here and we truly enjoyed having your group here. We appreciated being upgraded to a suite, and hotel staff were cheerful. Otherwise, as with many simply "Marriott" brand properties the hotel as a whole looked and felt quite dated. As it's name conveys, this particular property is of the familar type with cavernous lobby-to-ceiling atrium, with a single row of guest rooms on each floor all opening inward to... More

I have always enjoyed staying at this hotel, but it's age is showing. I had asked for a quiet room when the reservation was made, which I was not given. However, my room assignment was changed to a quieter room after my arrival. I stayed for three nights. The room was nice but I had some minor annoyances: The bathroom... More

Spent a weekend here while attending an event in ABQ. We were bumped up to one of the "Elite" rooms on a top floor. Room was spacious and clean and everything worked, but the concierge lounge, available to weekday business travelers, was closed during our weekend stay. Surprising amount of highway noise made it up to the 10th floor. Number... More

The rooms were big, quiet, and clean. Staff was very friendly. The lobby was nice with a waterfall. The fitness room was nice with cold towels, cucumber flavored water, and complimentary apples and oranges. The food was good but a little over priced... Not too bad though. We had 2 drinks, a big salad, and quesadillas for $38 after tip.... More
