My wife and I stayed there for three days. Location is good, within walking distance of Old Towne and right off I-40. Immediate neighborhood has really nothing interesting. Room was clean w/King bed. AC was a bit noisy; bathroom was clean and modern. Our main complaint was the service in the dining room. Breakfast was not included in the price,... more

I went on a pleasure trip this summer and stayed at this hotel. Was I ever glad that I did! Everything was clean. The front desk workers were friendly, helpful, and a few went over and above. This hotel was a short walk into Old Town, and also offered free shuttle rides to key points close by, including the Aquarium/Zoo/Bio Park... more

I stayed here for a business trip On February 25th and 26th of 2009. My first impression of the hotel room was that is was just ok. It had a little bit of that dirty feel to it, but didn't seem too bad...UNTIL I went to use the shower. There were "clean" folded towels on a rack to use, and... more

We arrived around midnight on a Friday night to this Best Western and there was nothing around that was open. We ended up walking quite a distance to an all night diner and then took a cab back to the property. The staff was very attentive and the room was nice but could use a bit of an update. The... more

We stayed 3 nights and enjoyed the experience very much. We had a King Study room which was a good size, with a comfy armchair as well as the desk and ergonomic chair. Good Internet connection both cable and wireless and a nice bathroom. Everything was clean and well maintained including the guest laundry. Staff were helpful and friendly and... more

We stayed here one night. It was clean, AC was very noisy and never stopped. We liked the roomy fridge. Conveniently located off Hwy 40, a few blocks from Old Town. Not the safest area to be wandering around; I noticed some transient people wandering nearby, but the hotel is secured. We drove to and parked in Old Town, not... more

My family and I went on a cross country road trip from Nevada to North Carolina. We stayed at several different hotels at different prices ranges and different themes and styles. Mainly based on convenience to the location we were visiting. So based on that we stayed here because of the location. It was the cheapest of the several hotels... more

I booked this hotel on Hotwire with the info that it was a 3 star hotel. Not in my opinion. Tiny lobby--a few couches next to the front desk, hardly a place where you could meet folks and have a conversation. The restaurant was so-so. Food was average, service slow. Our room was clean with 2 queen size beds, a... more

On first sight this 'mud' coloured adobe style hotel is a little off putting. However the rooms are comfortable and clean, the airconditioning is noisy and it is needed on all the time. The bathrooms are a good size with large counter, giving plenty of space for the coffee maker etc. Hotel is situated along a main road about ten... more
