From the moment you open the door, you're enveloped in the scents of warm cookies and tea. This century-old house is lovingly restored and comfortable, and the owners are thoughtful and welcoming. I recommend this place. There are younger people that stayed and older. The owner and staff were very helpful but not to the point of annoying you. The breakfast is very good. We rarely book at Bed and Breakfasts. We tend not to choose them because scheduled breakfasts at shared tables can feel intrusive, when the goal is setting your own agenda and pace. Mauger B and B clearly respects that some travelers want things their way. The breakfast buffet allowed guests to eat as much or as little as they wanted.... more
