Great hosts, location and very clean. Overall very pleased. Great stop on a road trip! The Erna Ferg kiss is the perfect little room for 2 friends. We had to leave early before breakfast and Kathy prepared us a to go breakfast bag.

We greatly enjoyed our two night stay. Steve and Kathy prepare a hearty and outstanding breakfast. My husband and I are gluten free and they provided delicious offerings. We stayed in the Edward Buxton Cristy room and would definitely recommend it. There was a little book in the room that provided info about Cristy if you are historically interested. Steve... More

The Bottger Mansion is a wonderful facility, clean, well-appointed and right next to Old Town. Steve and Kathy are great hosts and the breakfasts were superb. The only drawback was the proximity to highway noise. Drag-racing motorcycles kept me up both nights we stayed, but my wife likes to sleep with the windows open. I'd recommend getting a room in... This is one of the nicest Bed and Breakfast establishments we've ever been to. And, it definitely has the best breakfasts we've ever tasted. If you plan to visit Old Town Albuquerque, this is a perfect spot to stay since it is only 2 blocks from the center of town. The inkeepers have a wealth of information for you. The... More

The Bottger"Mansion" was a major disappointment. The room we rented should not have been offered to anyone, especially if one is accustomed to an Inn or bed and breakfast environment. It had the feel of tenement housing with mismatched furniture, a sink in the bedroom (not charming), filthy dirty roller blinds with black soot or grease down the edges of... More

We meet all our guests and have no record or recollection of your stay. If you did stay with us and the room didn’t meet your expectations, if you couldn’t “wait to get out of there,” why didn’t you say anything to us at the time? Guests who have stayed at the Bottger Mansion know that each room is unique... More

From the charm of the Bottger Mansion to the uniquely decorated rooms to the delicious breakfast, our stay was one to remember. Unassuming from the external, we were delightfully surprised when we entered inside. The rooms, each having its own theme, were comfortable and provided a great night's rest. The mattresses were so comfortable. They served a French toast that... More

The Bottger is in Old Town. The location couldn't be better. The innkeepers are very friendly, breakfast was great, and the accommodations were clean and comfortable. I would stay at this inn again in the future. Steve gave us some great restaurant recommendations.

Hosts are odd ducks not well suited to hospitality industry. Initially somewhat brusque and curt, but warmed up a bit later, though there is something off-putting about them. Food was good, but overrated by some other reviewers, especially compared to top-of-the-line B&Bs. Good location near historic area. Room in front did not bother us though there was some noise from... More

Thank you for taking the time to write a review. On the day of your arrival, we had suffered an unexpected death of a family member. Some people can put on a smile and act as if nothing happened, but it is difficult to be cheerful in time of grief. Since we don’t wish to burden guests with our sorrows,... More

So glad we found this B&B a very short walk from Old Town Albuquerque. Our hosts were very knowledgeable in more ways than usually expected. Helped with where to eat and especially where not to eat. As experienced travelers we are used to less than perfect beds, but we both agreed our bed was the best we have ever slept... More

We had two lovely breakfasts and enjoyed our hosts. Decor was charming. The main drag is pretty close, however, so ask for a room as far from the road as possible. Otherwise, the noise of autos and especially motorcycles can be bothersome.
