We spent two nights there eating dinner in the room both nights which saved us money. The staff was helpful and courteous. The kids enjoyed the outdoor pool. The morning free breakfast was lacking but OK for being free. The room design was odd. The bathroom door if left open got in the way of the main door, thus it... More

Stayed here 2x, at start and end of our vacation from the east coast to the 4 corners area. Never used this subchain of Marriott before but will look for them in the future. Being near the airport is what we wanted, and food nearby includes Cervantes (excellent and good value New Mexican about 5 minutes away, and Frontier for... More

Like most Marriott properties, this one was not built properly. A symphony of slamming doors, plumbing noises, hall noise etc. Awaked and kept awake by people in next room who were barely whispering and you could hear every word. When maid was in next room, so much noise impossible to conduct a phone call. Bottoms of feet were black after... More

We stayed at this hotel for a couple of nights while we were on a road trip last month. We were visiting some friends, checking out the zoo/aquarium, and riding the Sandia Peak tram (avoid in the afternoon when the ski day is ending, long waits to come back down!). We always look for a hotel that has at least... More

We stayed two different weekends one to catch a flight out and then when we flew back into Albuquerque. We appreciated the fact that we could leave our vehicle in their parking lot for a week and take the shuttle to the airport. Their breakfast is more of a grab and go, mostly individually wrapped pastries and hard boiled eggs... More

We live in AZ and have a daughter at USAFA so if we drive to visit her ABQ is our halfway point. Hotels in ABQ are in my opinion overpriced and it can be hard to find a good place at a good price...this being said the TOWNE PLACE is an ok place to rest and recharge. Rooms are a... More

We spent two nights at the Townplace Suites and were pleasantly surprised. The property is close to the airport with easy access to the interstate and downtown. It is within walking distance to a few chain restaurants (IHOP, Fuddruckers, Waffle House, Applebee's). There is no restaurant on-site, but there is a small "store" that sells candy, ice cream, and other... More

My company has had a rate agreement with this establishment. Every time I've been here, which total amounts to about 6 months, there have been internet problems which interfere with my work. If you don't need intenet access this is an OK place to stay but if your job depends on being online, stay away.

The hotel is fine if you don't mind dirty bathtubs and dogs barking all hours of the night. When I was at the front desk, another couple had to change rooms because their carpet was wet. The guy's granddaughter stepped on the carpet and then the tile floor in the bathroom and fell. The front desk clerk stated that she... More

The hotel has rooms with very efficient kitchens with all the basic amenities you might need for a several day stay. A convection oven is a great way to cook. Everything was very clean and well maintained. The room was well appointed- so much so that nearly everything one could need is there. The only criticism was the air conditioner... More
