I stayed here as part of a conference. It was all in all not a bad hotel. They have done and are doing a lot of remodeling and it shows. However there are still some rough edges. The staff was reliable…not great and friendly but also not incompetent and hostile. The room was decently sized and had comfortable furnishings and... more

Given the reviews on this site I was expecting the worst, however, I found this to be an above average hotel and in-line with the Hilton chain. I stayed in the tower and the room did appear to be recently renovated (flatscreen, mahogony bed frame and desk, granite countertops in bathroom.) True, the location leaves much to be desired, however,... more

This has to be the worst Hilton ever. The location is appalling. The cab driver said, "basically a truck stop" - I thought he was being funny, but by daylight I saw he was exactly right. You can't even see Albuquerque from here. Room service was unable to bring the right order - and what they did bring (a congealed... more

This hotel is still in the middle of massive renovations. We, fortunately, received an upgrade to a remodeled room (being Hilton Diamond members). The renovations were nice. Everything was so new. In fact, in order to use the hide-a-bed we had to cut plastic off the mattress. At this point, it's a little like putting lipstick on a pig, as... more

We stayed for 2 nights and the room was lovely (with the exception of a strange odor that never really went away and the loud airconditioner - why is it that hotels buy the noisiest units made?). The furnishings were 1st rate, nice flat screen tv, new bedding etc. The Ranchers Club was WONDERFUL, especially our waiter, Thomas. The other... more

...because it isn't getting any better, judging from my recent stay. Desk clerks are not more helpful; rooms are not updated; exercise equipment is still broken; what IS being improved? How can Hilton keep its name on such a run-down (and poorly-run) property? They can't change the location (off the beaten path), nor the neighborhood (none). The bed was firm... more

I stayed one night for a conference. The facilities and food were very good with the exception that in our meeting room we could sometimes hear talking and laughter from adjoining rooms. The guest room was clean and comfortable. No complaints. The staff was efficient and courteous. The hotel has a strange layout so be careful not to get lost! more

If you want a great view of the intersecting highways- you've found your place! This hotel is in a horrible location. There are NO good restaurants around and it is a $15 cab ride to either old town, downtown, or nob hill. Our room smelled smoky and it may have also been the musky, non-used smell adding to that. It... more

I wanted to stay here to see what it was like. First, let me say that the BEST hotel bellman that I've ever encountered...was here!! His name is Deane and if you should stay here, then I hope you will be able to meet him. Now, for the review. I found out that the Executive Floor is completely non-smoking. We... more

I stay at Hilton's almost exclusively and have come to expect excellent accommodations, and have had nothing but good experiences--up until this month. My husband and I stayed at the Albuquerque Hilton recently and it was one of the worst experiences we have ever had. The rooms were more like spending a night at a $29/night motel room--outdated, stained/cigarette burned... more
