ABQ KOA is awesome! No, there isn't grass; but this is the desert. They don't get enough rain to maintain grass and it would be a waste of water to have to maintain it. It is beautifully landscaped however. The sites are nice and level. Ours had a picnic table, swing, and chiminea. Some have grills. The bathrooms are clean... More

Staying at KOA Central right now! Stayed at one a few nights ago in Ok. Called and made reservations. Told them I had a 35 ft. class A with a toad. They Charged $67 a night. Storm was coming, wind was blowing, so I decided to go ahead and stay here. we needed to get off the road. At checking... More

Our family of 5 stayed in deluxe cabin #2. Bed linens and towels were provided which was nice. The cabin was roomy. AC worked well for the most part. It was hot during the day but got better overnight. Pool was clean and fairly warm and very close. Overall a very nice alternative to camping and we were very glad... More

I've stayed in several KOA's over the years, but the folks at Albuquerque Central were the friendliest, most accommodating hosts I've ever experienced. I was tent camping, and the wind was blowing a gale, so they let me upgrade to one of their small cabins. It was really nice ! I highly recommend this one !!

I travel to Albuquerque at least twice a year for work, and stay at either the Central KOA or the one in Bernalillo. The Central KOA is right off the interstate and very easy to get to. There is a bit of interstate "white noise" but nothing too terrible. It's located in a normal middle class neighborhood close to food... More

We had stayed here about a year ago, it was decent. We just stayed here and their is new management within the last couple months. John and Linda are amazing! I would definitely stay here every time I am in Albuquerque. They are totally updating this park!

Visiting Albuquerque's Balloon Fiesta, 2013. Spent the night with friends camping here. We were a little bit skeptical about staying in this area of Albuquerque. We were pleasantly surprised by this beautiful, quite (especially considering the park borders I-40), and well kept park!

This place is big and it looks like many people live here long term. The staff was friendly and helpful. Showers clean and bigger than most other KOA's we have tried. Overnight prices about average. Not a picturesque campground, more of a overnight stay and back on the road. They did have a laundry.

With all of the beautiful surroundings around ABQ, it sure is hard to find a place to camp with an RV. This KOA, right off I-40, is decent. They have a nice swinging bench at each site. It's a desert, so trees are sparse. Friendly staff, nice pool. It was fine for a stay over or if you need want... More

We recently stay at this Koa. I wish we would have drove a little farther. We have dogs and even though this KOA had Three Dog Parks it had no grass at all. Just sand! Our dogs didn't like it to well. The Koa Is very Large with limited Bathroom facilities. The Koa is Right Next to I 40 in... More
