Pros - rooms were clean and comfortable, staff were friendly. Very close to downtown. Cons - they have a huge sign outside saying 'free high-speed wi-fi', but the internet was barely detectable, let alone usable, and not even almost 'high-speed'. The hotel next door and the restaurant three doors down were easier to connect to. I was woken up by... more

I booked online and was pleasantly surprised. It is great for those who do not want to spend a fortune on a room. It is simple and clean. Does not include refridgerator or coffee maker but that was okay for the price. Free breakfast is not much but there are many places near by for a meal. The area was... more

We chose this hotel as a more affordable option to the downtown hotels while attending a conference. This was a decent motel where we felt relatively safe and within close driving distance to downtown as well as Old Town. It's a lot better-looking than the other motels in the vicinity. Why it's a good motel: +clean room and furniture in... more

I stayed at the Downtown Econo-Lodge and was very happy with the experience. The room was very clean and all the front desk people were exceptionally nice. It was a great value and within walking distance of the convention center, train station, many restaurants and bus stops. I would highly recommend this motel to anyone looking to go to Albuquerque... more

For $44, it's a good choice for sleeping at Albuquerque, near the I25, before going to santa Fe or the east. On Central avenue ( ex route 66) near the famous 66 Diner, famous for the look but the hamburgers are well, not more. No noise, wifi works well, no surprise. more

I didn't even stay here and they charged my credit card. I cancelled my reservation two months in advance, yet they still charged me and tell me I am a liar---that I never cancelled. They stole my money. STAY AWAY!!!!! more

not a good experience. When check in ,they will ask you whether you agree to be charged all at once. Don't agree,or it is not easy to leave earlier if you want. Make sure you get your receipt when you leave. They won't fax to the receipt to you automaticly until you call them several times and provide some unneccessary... more

Great location just off of I-25. Price was great! Very clean room. The room appeared recently updated. The air conditioner was easy to control and it cycled on and off so as not to give off a continuous blast of cool air. I did not eat the breakfast offered, though, as I went to another restaurant for breakfast. more

We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights during early September 2004. We booked online at the Econolodge website, and received the Internet Users Rate (approx 10% off standard rack rate). On checking in at the hotel, the reception staff initially refused to honor the rate as we did not hold a coupon that matched the discounted rate in the... more
