This peaceful sanctuary in the old heart of Albuquerque felt like a farm in France or Italy. Huge cottonwood trees line the driveway and guide you into the charming courtyard check-in. Enjoy the shampoo/lotion samples- their famous lavender products. I wandered over to the farm store, where you can buy all of their lavender and fresh honey wares, gelato, great... More

Los Poblanos was a retreat, as well as an education about historic architecture. The employees were wonderful, the beds comfortable and there were lovely spaces for walking and biking. Even the hotel library was worth checking out.

Not the normal hotel experience. This is a working farm. Lavender is a major crop and they have a Farm Shop where you can buy products made from their hard labor plus other unique items worth your time to consider. This is the most relaxing place I've ever stayed. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Depending on the time... More

We stayed in one of the Farm Rooms. There were outside chairs in the front and back of the room for relaxing, and gardens surround the rooms; the effect is charming. The property is very pretty and encourages relaxation. Dinner at the Inn resturant was good, but I really couldn't enjoy my meal because the patio chairs were flimsy and... More

This 1930's vintage architectural masterpiece has been re-created as a wonderful Country Inn. There are two guest areas--the 1930's era John Gaw Meem Territorial style one-story courtyard Inn with guest rooms, common area and dining areas; and the Farm Stay--a recent addition of larger guest rooms around a central courtyard near the pool and lavender farm. The grounds are breathtaking.... More

Within a short drive from downtown off an undistinguished main road but near a very upscale neighborhood near the Rio Grande. Located on 25 acres of fields, lavender and gardens, a charming spanish style ranch house from the 1930s has been added on to in discrete and tasteful ways. Meals and a few room are in the original house around... More

This historic Inn and Farm was a great place to spend a three day weekend with 20 or so college classmates and spouses. Not "fancy" but beautiful, historic buildings and grounds with a "New Mexico" character, great food and very reasonably-priced,comfortable rooms. The breakfast that comes with the room was great, with different choices each morning. Every staff member we... More

Los Poblanos offers a rural and rustic experience filled with lush garden walkways. I stayed in the McCormick room, it was rustic and I was surprised as the rug was unclean and the mattress was so hard I did not get a good nights sleep and woke with a sore back. The room smelled musty but I took that as... More

I want to be transparent with this review: I worked at Los Poblanos for nearly two years during the recent and MAJOR expansion. It was certainly an exciting time to be a member of the LP family. I've been away for several years now, but each and every time I've returned to Albuquerque I've made my best effort to find... More

Los Poblanos is a taste of old New Mexico at this 1930s-era farm estate now organic farm and inn. There is the sense of being at your long lost cousin’s house, a friendly familiarity with elements of the homegrown, but classy. The experience holds its own with a sense of relaxation and rural beauty. The style is old hacienda meets... More
