I stayed at the Hotel Parq Central on the night on 16 June 2014 having flown in from Charlotte after the US Open golf. The hotel is lovely. I can see why at the time I made the booking it was number 1 in the area on TripAdvisor (my reason for booking). The room was small but very comfortable, perfectly... More

Dear GeoCRAt, Thank you so much for letting us know that your stay was so super! We are extremely proud of the features you mentioned, especially our free Wi-Fi (and free sunsets!), our comfortable rooms, and the ingenuity of our chefs (next time, try the Flatbread Pizza or Caprese Chicken Sliders ). We hope that the opportunity to return will... More

First, the staff-everyone was so helpful and nice. Since our room was in adjoining building, we were escorted there and we're told it was one of the doctors' residences (since the hotel was once a hospital). We were told about the lounge, the family room, the ice ( in little plastic bags), and coffee that would be available in the... More

Dear BobLDallas_TX, Your comments were extremely appreciated by every member of the staff here. We are grateful for your compliments towards the service, the amenities, and our beautiful neighborhood, the Huning Highland Historic District. One of my favorite areas in the city is the residential neighborhood directly behind the Parq Central, filled with faithfully renovated Queen Anne style homes. It’s... More

Very well appointed hotel, friendly staff...roof view of albuqurque at sunset with tapas and beverage of choice a must. Beautifully, cleverly, and thoughtfully restored hospital that makes you WANT to have a stay! Conveniently located adjacent to interstate 25. . .excellent medium priced restaurants within easy walking distance. Our room was quiet at night despite being next to the I-25... More

Dear Nancy W, Thank you for your very complimentary review of the Hotel Parq Central. Thank you especially for noting that your room was quiet, despite the proximity to the interstate. During the renovation a massive amount of effort was put into successfully soundproofing the rooms, and it definitely shows. We’re thrilled that you enjoyed your three-night stay, and we... More

We were impressed with the service of the staff and their friendliness. The rooms were above average and the hotel has a history. It, originally, was a railroad hostpital. We stayed in the building that the doctors occupied while on call. There is a continental breakfast that, while somewhat limited in comparison to some other hotels, was quite excellent.. There... Wonderful historic structure that has been superbly restored and delightfully appointed. Best and most varied "free" breakfast I've ever encountered . . . try the green chili croissants! Hot tub outdoors gets overlooked but awfully nice. Rooftop lounge is a treat and appears to draw locals as well as the overnight guests. One of the most comfortable beds I've experienced... More

I stayed here recently for a business trip and it couldn't have been nicer. The rooms are very clean and comfortable and more so than other hotels I've been in, the public areas are very welcoming. The hotel has a cool vibe to it, it doesn't feel like a typical chain hotel. Between the complimentary (and delicious breakfast), the hotel's... More

Hotel Parq Central is subdued luxury at it's finest! The rooms are comfortable, and the bathrooms large. Great front desk staff. The breakfast is wonderful with everything from fresh warm quiche to fruit pies, bagels, cereal, and yogurt...great coffee, too. Stayed here one night while we were passing through Albuquerque on a road trip. Interesting historic building with a modern, trendy vibe. The bed was very comfortable--spacious shower--beautiful landscaping--nice breakfast--convenient shuttle service to town--but best of all was the awesome staff! This hotel caught my eye from the highway as it is historic and very charming. My room was not in the main building but in another older historic part if the property. I loved it! It is hard to believe that this hotel was once a hospital! The decorations are beautiful, especially the Syzygy tile in the lobby. The beds are super comfortable. You can even open the windows! I love fresh air. I certainly plan on going back! The lobby is beautiful. It is decorated with Syzygy tile, a must see!

Dear Travellingnut2014, Thank you for your review, we’re glad you enjoyed your stay! You might be interested to learn that the Syzygy tile on our lobby columns was designed as a sort of visual reference to the original tile pattern on the exterior of the building; one of many references to the building’s legacy. We’re glad to hear that you... More
