The room was average. It had a microwave and a refrigerator. I felt the room needed more light. Eventhough it has the usual motel style lighting within the room, I felt it was dark. The addition of about two more lamps or high wattage bulbs would really help. The breakfast room was also dark but the breakfast was good. There... more

Hawthorn Inn and Suites – Airport Bottom line up front: Keep looking if you have the time. For the price, it does nothing to exceed the standard. Doesn’t live up to the Hawthorn name (or price), and makes you feel like you’re in the 1980’s. Close to the airport, and Interstate 25, but not walking distance to anything. The area... more

I travel frequently for business and always look forward to staying here. In fact, out of all the hotels I've stayed in across 6 states, this is my favorite. The rooms are extremely clean, service is great and it's close to the freeway. more

We constantly stay at Hawthorne in Grand Junction, CO and love it so we booked this one in Albuquerque and there is no comparison. The Albuquerque one is just a standard hotel, nothing special here. The property was pretty run down. Not a lot of parking...We had to park in back and walk all the way to the front, no... more

The room was a fairly average size, smaller than other Hawthorns that I have stayed at. The room was clean. My major problem was with the wireless. Sometimes it worked great, but other times it was very slow or nothing. I had problems more times than not. The breakfast had sausage, bacon, eggs, etc. It was very good. I was... more

I was treated like a criminal upon arrival and was required to allow the hotel to make a photo copy of my drivers license. I had personal computer equipment stolen from my room. more

Stayed here for 2 nights in March 2008. Very disappointed in this hotel. Needs to be updated badly. Has only one elevator which is painfully slow. Sheets were threadbare. You could see through them in spots. Bed was hard. Shuttle to the airport is great, unless you are leaving during off times- then it is not available to you. Hot... more

I had to book travel at the last minute and this was one of the few hotels that were within the per diem rate. The front desk was friendly and easy to work with. The decor seemed quite a bit out of date in the lobby. My room was clean, but again this hotel looks like it hasn't been updated... more
