We arrived at late evening, so it was dark. The building next to this motel is ruined and no light, it felt us kind of scaring atmosphere and security concern. Room itself was clean, but facial tissue was running out. I asked the office to replace it, but the person said there is no facial tissue for replacement and gave... More

All new paint, carpet and tile makes the room seem nicer than the great price you paid but as you settle in you notice several things that add up to almost a deal breaker. First the train issue several reviews have talked about. we were in the back of the lot furthest away from the road and tracks but every... More

We stayed here July, 2014. The room was clean, the bed was very good but the pool was 'out-of-order.' A short conversation between the owner and his young son made us wonder how long the pool had not operated, which is the main reason we decided to stay here. We thought the owner should have informed us up-front that the... More

Reservation made 7/2/2013 for arrival of 7/4/2013. When we arrived with written confirmation of our reservation and rate we were asked to pay 50% more than the confirmed rate. We talked to two people at the front desk and the "owner" was supposedly called to no avail. We stayed elsewhere rather than fall for this unethical practice, INcidentally the pool... More

I stayed here twice, about 4 years apart. Both times I found the rooms to be very clean, the prices good and the staff very friendly and helpful. My only complaint is weak coffee in the morning. Highly recommended.

When I first arrived, I had found the room somewhat clean. I decided to get the bed ready and a huge roach ran across the bed. The breakfast was not what I would call a continental breakfast. I would not stay there again. The staff was everything but friendly.

Room was dirty. Pool was dirty. When we went to bed we found a couple of bedbugs. So if you want to take some home and infest your home stay at the luxury inn.

This motel is great for the "one night in town" traveler. Economical with coupons in travel magazines. Clean and secure but no continental breakfast and lousy coffee.

Luxury Inn is one of the cheaper motels on the Albuquerque strip. You can find a coupon for about $30/room in one of the motel travel guides, a very good bargain for a nice room. Service is abrupt and rude but the room itself has been cleaned up and painted and the AC is average. I found it to be... More

Rte 66, Central Ave in Albuquerque is loaded with antique 50's style motels, and if you can divorce yourself from the Brand name chain motels, you can find good value on Central Ave.We located an excellent motel on Rte 66, the Luxury Inn. at 6718 Central Ave. 505-255-5900.It was very clean and up to date and $29.95 for a double...
