Went to this inn to rent a room and to plan a small birthday party for a friend. The web page made it appear that this would be a great place for any type of gathering. To my surprise, my encounter with the woman at the front desk was very unpleasant. She was very rude and unpleasant and seemed very... More

What a wonderful little place to stay! We stayed 1 night after a late flight into ABQ. We were warmly greeted and taken on a tour of the property! We stayed in Zuni room with a king bed and awesome fireplace! We were offered a late checkout as we arrived late and she thought we may want that! This is... More

What a wonderful surprise! A reasonably priced hotel within walking distance of "Old Town". Margaret, the woman who checked us in was delightful. She emailed me twice before arriving to make sure we got everything we needed. We got the Kachina room which I would highly recommend. The decor was very southwest, with Native American and aboriginal art. I love... More

Driving up from southern New Mexico, we went to Albuquerque on a whim. On the road, I happened to find this B&B online, and we booked for one night since it was close to the Old Town. The property is a former artist's colony--according to one of the staff, construction may have begun in the 1920's by the artist who... More

I spent the night here with my nine year old son. Location and availability of a kitchen within the room was our primary reason for selecting this property. We stayed in the El Prado casita. This is an old adobe casita - old but charming. If you are looking for a 5 star property, this is not it. If you... More

One friend went to College here in Albuquerque. 30 years later we gathered at this wonderful Place and picked up just like it was yesterday. ( January 2002) All of our needs were met~ we all chose our "special" rooms, had a meeting place in the middle of the Inn, where the kitchen area and front desk is located. The... More

I said around 3 years back that 'It's the sort of place that when you go back (and I'm sure you will) you'll stick your head through the door and shout "I'm home Mom" '. But can you ever go back home? I thought I'd try again this year. Sure some of the guys working there had changed, but that's... More

Based on pictures and description, we thought La Cascada would be fine. However it turned out to be tiny and somewhat dismal inside. Bed is terrible. Don't get me wrong...this is a unique property with 18 units and other folks have high praise for it. So I guess my message is to carefully pick your casita.

Albuquerque may not be Santa Fe or Taos - nor does it want to be. But, amidst the hustle and bustle of a modern city, you can find the quiet of the Old Town Historic District, and a unique place for lodging in that District - the Casas De Suenos. A beautiful collection of individual "cottages" that were once occupied... More

I stayed here with my 75-year old mother for three nights in October. We stayed in the Turquoise Room. I chose these accommodations because I wanted something nice that was within walking distance to Old Town and had two separate sleeping areas (my mom snores). Casas de Suenos fit the bill nicely. The room had a kitchen, a separate living... More
