Hacienda de Colores is well named. It is colorfully decorated with ethnic items from near and far, giving it much charm. The hacienda is conveniently located in Old Town. Although it backs up to to I-40, the freeway noise doesn't disturb, due to its adobe walls and a sound barrier wall along the freeway.
Our room had a king sized bed, a gas kiva fireplace and a rocking chair to pull in front of it if so desired, and a single tub with whirlpool jets. There was a small private patio with a bistro table and chairs that would have been pleasant in warmer weather. There's also high-speed wireless. The common area has a built-in seating area around another kiva fireplace, plenty of upholstered seating, a baby grand piano, a dining table and chairs, and counter stools along the serving peninsula, so quite a crowd could be accommodated.
