We stayed in the Alegre room in mid-June of 2005. This was our first B&B experience, and we stayed for the final two nights of our 10-night trip through the Southwest. After 8 nights in hotels, this was a real treat! Victoria, the hostess, was extremely friendly and helpful. The room was immaculate and beautifully decorated. We had our own private entrance with a small patio and garden, though a much larger main patio was just around the corner. Breakfast was excellent - we wound up sitting around the table for over an hour chatting with the other guests.
The room did not have air conditioning, but a nice breeze comes through the room and it was not uncomfortable, even when it was reaching 97° outside. Our 13 year old daughter really enjoyed visiting with the goats, chickens, and barn cats. Overall a wonderful experience!
