On arrival were suprised by the receptionist with an upgrade to a (so called) suite, a spacier, nicely furnished room. The room was clean and the beds extremely good. This made our two nights stay during our trip along Route 66 very comfortable. That is why we don't hesitate to recommend this reasonably priced place to all travelers. A wifi... More

The Sandia Peak Inn Motel is our favorite place to stay in Albuquerque. The rooms are large and clean, not far from the Plaza. We enjoy parking in front of our room so we don't have to go far after a day of activities. I understand all motels and hotels increase their prices for the GON Pow Wow, but Sandia... More

One night stay on a Sunday evening. Rapid check-in. Very clean, quiet, and comfortable. Ground floor room was convenient from vehicle parking. Breakfast was exceptional! Made our first visit to Albuquerque a pleasant one.

A motel with over the top decoration on the outside. American native themed statures in very bright colours. Rooms are good and staff friendly. It is on a busy highway but noise drops off later at night. Area around the motel is not so good and walking around not advisable although we did and had no problems. Air conditioners are... More

This simple motel is conveniently located, a couple of miles west of old town Albuqueue. It also makes it 10 miles from its namesake, the Sandia Peak Tramway, somewhat less practical. It is cheap, clean and basic. They have no cribs, so we had to pay for a room upgrade for a second bed. In fact, we were upgraded to... More

This is the 2nd time I have stayed here with my grandkids and they love the heated pool and the fact that it isn't crowed when they swim. I like the fact that it's on Central right in the middle of everything I like about Albuquerque. The parking is kind of tight if your not back in your room early... More

Needed a room fast and after searching we came across this gem. The neighborhood isn't much, but is easily overlooked when staying here. Rooms were inviting and spacious. Management... all I can say is Amazing. Thanks Kay and the rest of the staff for a great motel experience.

What a nice little motel. The owner was there to greet us when we arrived to check-in around 6pm and also stopped by to visit with guests at breakfast the following morning at 7:15am. The breakfast selections were the best we've experienced yet during our 10 day road trip across the southwest (staying in similarly priced places across MS, TX... More

Clean, safe (a concern especially for a female traveling alone), friendly staff, comfortable bed. It is a couple of miles off I40 on the old Route 66, but well worth the small detour. They had me in a room within minutes of pulling in around midnight, directing me to a good 24-hour taco place up the road upon request. Highly... More

Details make the difference, yes indeed! From the comfy beds and unique linens to the heated indoor dipping pool, Sandia Peak is clearly a labor of love. It's just the other side of Old Town and a great value. Support local business and stay at Sandia Peak!
