Friendly reception, free breakfast, free wifi, clean and spacious room, big fridge in the room. One suggestion though, scrambled eggs for breakfast would be nice. Definitely recommended hotel. Great value for the price we paid.

We stayed at the Sandia Peak Inn for one night on a 10-day road trip. There were three of us: grandmother, mother and daughter and location safety was a key consideration. Location: I picked the motel because it was west of Albuquerque and we would avoid morning traffic driving westbound to the Grand Canyon. The motel is on a main... More

My daughter and I were traveling cross country and had driven 1000 miles in a single day. We checked in around 10:00 pm. The woman at the desk was very helpful. It was in August and VERY humid. Our room was nice and COOL. The breakfast was standard continental....but they had lots of boiled eggs so great for a low... More

It just slays me to read dozens of warm reviews then a couple of very negative reviews from people who want their dogs to be accepted in a no dog motel, or complaints that a Route 66 motel happens to be located on Route 66, this motel was amazing, clean , roomy, lots of parking available , and did I... This is your old fashioned roadside motel with some upgrades with a little extra charm. Our rooms had a large flat screen tv, curved shower curtains, coffee maker and good wifi. There's a large indoor pool and the breakfast is your standard high carb fare. Clean and comfortable. Good for a one night stay.

On a road trip to Texas, my kids and I spent the night. The owner was friendly and helpful at check in. We chatted for a few minutes after she had finished getting me registered and delivering me my keys. One of the best things about local businesses can be personal care and I got it here. At check in,... More

We were passing through on our way to CA. Beds were comfortable & room was clean. A/C worked well, though if you had the bed closest to the unit, the air blew directly on you. Central Ave is a busy road and is noticeable if you're sensitive to noise. Breakfast was typical. Given the nature of our journey, it was... More

What an delightfully distinctive little motel on old Route 66 and very close to Old Town! The room was attractively decorated and immaculate. The owner, Kay, was on hand at all times and very helpful. Her recommendations for restaurants took us to fantastic, reasonably priced food close by. Albuquerque is one of our favorite destinations, and we will come back... More

We were passing through Albuquerque on our way home from a 2 week trip and wanted a place that would meet our needs for a one night stay at a reasonable price. Sandia Peak more than did that. When we arrived it was about 8 pm and had booked a King room. When we given a double queen suite for... More

I was really worried picking this cheaper hotel and seeing the old town buildings on my way to the hotel. But then we saw this beautifully painted, fresh looking hotel and we were immediately relived. The area has many restaurants and stores. The hotel turned out to be a gem. Nice big and clean rooms, good beds, good continental breakfast,... More
