Stayed here based on reading a bunch of extremely positive reviews. Since the name is Sandia Peak Inn, I thought it might be close to Sandia Mountains...it is not. It is located in a less-than-appealing neighborhood. The motel itself is old, but very well maintained. The furnishings are old, but in good condition. Overall, the motel could use a makeover.... My friends and I stayed here one night on a road trip. We loved it! The staff was super friendly and helpful. The room was clean and perfect for our needs. There were three of us and we fit nicely. We were all impressed with the super comfy beds and towels. The towels were also extra large, which, when you're... More

If you’re looking for a Motel that has character, this is the place to go! We had a large corner room with a jacuzzi tub and it was close to the pool. The furnishings were dated but that’s what gave it character! The staff were friendly and obviously invested in their guests. Kay made sure we had what we needed... More

The first two nights were great and then the room cleanup made a marked decline. Definitely down hill and had to ask for towels a couple of times each day to get fresh ones. And they don't change the sheets. Really enjoyed it on day one and two. Be prepared for the manager to scold you if you made your... More

My wife & I decided that we wanted a quick little weekend getaway. Nothing too fancy or expensive, just a quiet weekend away from home. We had wanted a first floor room, but they were all booked. We ended up on the 2nd floor, but were thrilled with it. Tucked in the corner, we stayed in a large king suite.... More

Stayed here with my girlfriend one night in March 2014. The room was comfortable and very clean, and the staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast included the hotel staples of bagels and waffles, as well as fresh fruit. Overall, we were very satisfied with our stay. If you are arriving late, be aware that many restaurants in the area close... More

We had a very good experience staying at the Sandia Peak Inn motel. We meant to stay only 2 days and ended up staying a week. Linda was most gracious and friendly to us. She is a hard worker and looked after every detail of our visit. That certainly is a 24/7 job. Without her it would not have been... More

Based on other reviews we chose Sandia Peak Inn. We had a great stay. The room was clean and comfortable. And the bed was super comfortable. We joined other travelers for breakfast in almost a B&B atmosphere. Clearly other guests had a similar positive experience and no one was in a hurry to leave. This motel is a great value... More

Booked a room for 4 through booking.com for $69.99. When we arrived, they had a sheet of paper laying on the check in counter with my name and information on it. We arrived around 10:00 p.m. which is the time we indicated we would arrive, but they acted like they didn't have a room for us. However, if we upgraded... More

I had been scoping this motel on TripAdvisor for the last few weeks before our trip. I was amazed that it was rated #2 and such a great price. We booked directly by phone on the day we were arriving. It is really a charming place that has been built with a particular vision in mind. There are so many... More
