This was a great motel. The rooms were clean and a good size. The owner was very helpful and knowledgeable. The breakfast was basic, but it was good enough. The motel isn't too far from the historic district of Albuquerque. I would stay here again.

Originally planned to stay only one night we ended up staying three nights at the Sandia Peak Inn Motel. This due to the hotel and Albuquerque. The owner is very nice and helpful. She also takes care of the guests at breakfast. We can only recommend this hotel.

We stayed here based on the overall trip advisor ratings. I have to say a few reviews scared me - but the last reviewer was right; it's about expectations. If you expect a resort or chain high end hotel, you will be disappointed. But, if you want a nice, clean room, comfortable bed, and excellent service from a wonderful lady,... More

We stayed here based on TripAdvisor reviews and overall ranking and were not disappointed. Kay is wonderfully nice and helpful and makes a great waffle!! She is basically a one-woman show, so kudos to her for the condition of the historic motel. It has been well maintained and has its own uniqueness which has to be appreciated in light of... More

Surroundings: Clean and inviting. Art works are displayed around the compound and in the front office. We wanted to walk around the area but saw what looked like a homeless guy crossing the street and changed our minds. We also parked in front of the main office one time which was near our room and got a call a few... More

We booked this motel based off Trip Advisor reviews and were not disappointed. The room was warm when we first arrived, but turned on the AC and went to eat...had cooled down fine by the time we got back. The water pressure was great (which is always important to me!) and we slept good the one night there.

This stay was just ok. Grounds are very nice and clean and manicured. Other than that, just a typical independent motel trying to make it on reputation. Close to many activities so has that edge on competition. That also means rundown "USAland" neighborhood. They do have a wrought iron safety fence with gates which were not closed. Breakfast had nice... More

The workers were great and the room was clean but did NOT have and interior door lock which made me very uncomfortable. The breakfast was ok and our stay was good for the price. The swiming pool was more of a kids pool it was so small and it looked like it had alge in it. We did not go... More

We arrived late for this stay. The lady was really nice and got us into a bigger room upon request. They had no other rooms either and had given away ours even though we had a secure reservation. When we opened the door it was like a brick oven in the room. A/C had not been turned on in several... More

Our hire car had the oil change light come on and we had about 1000 miles to go, so we turned up at the hotel early to get rid of the luggage before having the car seen to. We were able to check in but were charged extra for it unfortunately. Nice room but on a very busy road. The... More
