This was the nicest place to stay...I have to say the woman running this was amazing. Never met anyone who actually made you feel like you were staying at her home. The place was decorated very cute. We have mostly always stayed in a chain, feeling safer as women traveling. This time, driving my sister cross country for a move,... More

I stayed at the Inn a week ago for 3 nights, after reading the great reviews on TA. I was not disappointed at all! The room was nice enough, nothing "fancy", but spotless clean!!!! The whole property though had the feel of a place that is loved and shared...It is sometimes the intangible that makes a place special, and in... More

Even though this was our first time there, we were greeted like old friends by the husband and wife owners of the inn. They were extremely nice and went out of their way to make sure everything was perfect. The inn looks new and each room is decorated in a different motif. The room, the lobby and the outside area... We stayed at the Sandia Peak Inn Motel for one night in May on our way through Albuquerque on a cross country trip. The owner was incredibly friendly and helpful. We'd booked a queen room, but had a lot of luggage with us so requested one on the ground floor. Although there were no ground floor queens available, she offered... More

I found this place on Tripadvisor, and am glad I believed other reviewers. The check in was very easy, and I was allowed to check in early. I stayed 4/25/2013 to 4/27/2013. I asked for and was given a room on the first floor. Was very pleased with the room, very clean and the bed was comfortable. Loved the TV.... More

This motel was perfect for our needs. Right on historic rt 66 (now central ave) it was a great location. The woman who runs it (owns it?) is very sweet and hospitable. The room seemed clean and fairly spacious w a king bed, fridge and microwave. The TV was a letdown as it is a huge flat screen but with... More

I gave 5 stars becuse Sandia Peak exceeded the standards of a discount motel. Hotel is a older structure located on Historic Rt 66. Everything is in tip-top shape and the owners clearly take pride in their business. Though not a historic motel, it has the charm of one. Cute statuary in the parking lot, rooms decorated in southwestern theme.... More

We were greeted by the ever smiling Kay, owner of the hotel. She's obviously very proud of her hotel and has a right to be. At a very reasonable rate we stayed in a large room with a king size bed that had a perfectly firm mattress. The continental breakfast delivered some very light and fluffy waffles and some prefectly... More

We stayed at this hotel based on previous user comments. They were right, it's a good place to stay. The owner knocked herself out helping to make our stay delightful. Everything was done to make the guest comfortable and happy. The only negative was the mattress which the owner said was to be replaced with new ones the following week.... More

This is my first trip to Albuquerque and I booked this motel based on reviews and ratings. That said, it is an old, but updated motel located on old route 66. The location is good because the entire length of road (heading towards the college) has some great restaurants, bars and pubs. People in the reviews said this is a... More
