The Sandia Peak Inn sits on Route 66, and is a classic American drive up motel. While it probably dates from the 40s or 50s, both the outside and the rooms are in great shape. We stayed in 2 different rooms a week apart, and while decorated different, both had high quality beds and linens, updated bathrooms, and were exceptionally... More

small motel in ABQ, absolutely pristine. We had a very large room, very good bed. Staff very friendly and helpful. This has been recommended on other sites, and I agree with those recommendations. Very reasonable price as well.

We were traveling through the area and we're pleased to find the Sandia Peak Inn. The rooms were immaculately clean. The location was close to old town. The motel was within walking distance to a super New Mexican restaurant & Ranch Market. We were pleased to support a family run local business on our way through New Mexico.

A friend and I needed a place to crash on our drive from Los Angeles to Pittsburgh. Trip Advisor brought us to the Sandia Peak Inn and we couldn't have been happier. Kay, the owner, greeted us at the front desk and treated is as if we were family. Our room was adorable and comfortable and at a really exceptional... More

My family and I decided to stop by in New Mexico on our way to Utah for our winter vacation. This place was great. It is located near downtown and close to many places to grab a bite, specifically El Charritos Mexican Restaurant. The rooms where clean and stocked with the necessary hygiene supplies. The rooms where also spacious and... More

This was our third stay at Sandia Peak Inn. We found it again to be a clean, comfortable, safe place to stay, but this time was something special. We arrived shortly after 8:30 PM after a long day of driving starting at 5 AM. We were all really tired but it was also my wife's and my 40th anniversary, and... More

We stayed here on our way home to Colorado from AZ. We called ahead to make a reservation, we were told a room would be waiting for us, not to hurry and have a safe drive. Room was ready when we arrived. Enjoy having the refrigerator, microwave and table/chairs. Room was very clean. Breakfast was good. The owner is very... More

I was pleasantly surprised with the décor and size of our room. It was clean and neat with the unexpected extras of a table with chairs and benches for luggage. The owner checked us in after dark and was making our waffles at 8 am the next morning. The parking lot was well lit and we felt safe going in... More
