This was our first stay at a B & B and it was a great experience. The hosts were gracious, sharing the history of their home with us. Our room was comfortable and we slept well. Breakfast was great. My wife and I were on our way to DC and picked the La Villa out of the blue. The owners are very nice and gave us a grand tour of the house. They have both traveled and collected extensively from France and Germany and have decorated the house with their finds. They made us feel very welcome and we... more

We enjoyed our stay very much. The owners were very down to earth. They would go the extra mile and suggest places for dinner and make reservations. They were very knowledgable about the activities in and around petersburg. We are planning a return trip for one of the murder mystery weekends. more
