While staying at the Ramada Plaza, I meet so great people and made some great friends. The downstairs bar has a great set of Television set up with DirecTV so you don't miss any sports activities. Friday night the club is jumping and we all had fun. more

I recently had an oppurtunity to explore the Richmond VA area and with a lack of accomodations in that area I made my way Petersburg to find a room. I was fortunate enough to discover The Ramada Plaza in that city and was exceptionally pleased with the facility. The staff was pleasant , competent and eager to point out the... more

I stayed at the Ramada while on a business trip. I chose it at random and was very pleased with my choice. All I wanted was quiet, clean, and centrally located, the fact that it had a "real" restaurant on premises sold me. The bonus was the really comfortable bed. more

The hotel is conveniently located right off Rt. 95. We stayed one night on our way to a wedding in SC. We liked it so much, we stayed on the way back too. The staff is courteous and helpful and the rooms are large, beautifully furnished and very comfortable. We would definitely stay there again. more

Stopped here on way to Myrtle Beach from New Jersey. Great location; right off the interstate. The staff was friendly and courteous, exhuding Southern hospitality. The hotel has a restaurant and all the amenities you could ask. The rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable. Great place! more

Oct 26, 2009 | Trip type: Friends getaway

My friends were coming to visit from out of town and I had a full house. Also, these particular friends needed a handicapped accessible room with the bathroom amenities for handicapped folks (my friend's wife has a bad case of Lupus). They were delighted with the courtesy shown them by the staff, by the food served, and the proximity to... more

Unfortunately, nowhere near Ft. Lee is going to be great because Petersburg isn't exactly the nicest place to be. If you're reading this, it's because you have to come here, so here are the pros: 1) good police presence, 2) The lobby is nice (but seemingly unused for anything), 3) everyone is very friendly, 4) you get a mini-fridge, microwave,... more
